How to unlock the Ninja Skills achievement

After you have beaten the first boss character of the Tower, a Dragon, you'll have a mini-level which has some chests and a few enemies.

One of the early chests will contain some sort of shield, which will render you immune to attacks for a short period of time. When you get this, dash towards the end of the level, taking out enemies in the meantime, so that the shield does not 'burn through'. At that point, the achievement should unlock.

Also, since magic attacks are a no-no for the achievement, don't jump, or make sure you take your finger off of the jump button before you attack. While this may seem stupid to say, it is easy to pull off a magic attack with your thumb on the X & A buttons.

TrueDevilHunterI would just like to add that it's very easy to get this achievement on certain floors that have exits really close by the starting doors. I wouldn't worry about getting this achievement until after going for everything else, you're pretty much sure to get it on accident on the way.

Pedle ZelnipI'm with DevilHunter, don't even worry about this on your first playthrough, you'll get it on one of the levels with only chests and the short run. If you don't after beating the game, then start a new game from level 5 or 13, and keep trying until you get it.

vX Precaria XvI retried level 1 like 6 times until I beat the boss without being hit. Didn't know that there's short levels a while after. On those short levels with consecutive chests you can get this achievement as well as the Vault goal of finishing a level in less than 10 seconds, so yeah, better not worry about it until you get there.

The X and Y buttons are the ATTACK. The A and B buttons are JUMP. Pushing A+X or Y+B will result in a magic attack. Do NOT do that, do not use magic. As long you just jump and attack, you'll be fine. The first level is pretty simple.

Slash the enemies as they come and watch out for them overhead on staircases if you choose to walk under them. You don't want them to drop off on top of your head or walk down the staircase and have their feet run into your face. Yes, it's one of those impossible 2D retro gaming paradoxes when a person walking past a staircase on ground level can be hit in the face by someone's feet walking down a staircase above and behind them just because they are lined up. What retro gamer doesn't take humor in that? If you do take the stairs, take care not to hop of onto or into an enemy as well. Another tip is the bipedal bears (yes, really) will throw what looks like Guile's Sonic Boom (i'm not joking). Be sure to duck to avoid those, but don't walk toward them crouching either as they will notice and duck to hit you, too.

Once you get to the first boss, the chimera, you need to time it's jumps to run under him and avoid being jumped on. When he lands, spam the attack button and occasionaly turn to hit other baddies. If you free the ally from the lower door earlier in the level (the Amazonian woman, you will need a key from a chest or swallowed by an enemy to free her) she has a long range of attack with her spear and will help you greatly in the chimera boss battle.

Just keep trying. The level is very short and simple, so if you're messing up, the prompt will tell you that you failed the "Ninja Skills Achievement" in red text, so pause and restart. I took me about 10-15 tries, so hang in there. It's definitely possible.

Extrema22A few levels after this one (sorry I forgot to check which one) you walk on a bridge and can grab an immunity power-up, just race to the right until you go through the door and you'll get the achievement (but not that satisfying though :))

SaltyTONI got this the first time I ever played the game, without knowing what the hell was going on in the game? How did you manage to die so often?!?!?!

Pedle ZelnipWell written solution, but the other solution is a much easier technique.
