this is quite difficult to get, the first operation which you have to complete with 2 is the more easy one, rush both to the right and take down these 2 enemies, afterwards it should be quite easy to defeat the 2 remaining ones.

At the other one which you should get with 3 people is quite difficult. you can see the guide by RUSETFB in the link, green should take down the long tom, light blue defend blue and take down some air transport and blue surive and build priests to destroy everything.

R.U.S.E.Staff OfficerThe Staff Officer achievement in R.U.S.E. worth 204 pointsComplete all operations


Firstly you'll need to recruit three people (including yourself) who have played the game to understand what units have what characteristics and how the game engine works on the hardest difficulty. It's imperative you understand what each RUSE does and how to use it.

You'll then need to be able to communicate, asking for a RUSE to be applied exactly when you want it and where.

Now the video I'll use as an example will show you how to play as the American role...which is who will win the game, but without the air recon of the British, the game will not go very well!!!! Be sure to use 'Spy' effectively.

Be sure the Italians use their 'RUSES' effectively to make any attacks on the American or British bases as costly as possible for the Germans.

Now watch the video and the Americans should place their units exactly where the player does in this video. The Italians should send a vehicle to build Flak 88 units inside the Americans base & position Flak 88 on the road looking towards the bridge that both sides will have to cross to reach each other.

The Italians role is to provide Flak 88 units and draw away as many German forces by moving units to attack them, instead of the British or Americans. Build Flak 88 to defend your base and then deploy tanks and move them near the woods or deliberately near the bridge to provoke the Germans to attack.

Now you'll notice the Secondary Objectives are not fulfilled in any videos you find. That's because they are not easy and will require multiple playthroughs. You can basically play the map and complete it to say a 'loss' just to kill the required 20 infantry.

So, you need 3 competent players. The weakest player or with the least experience should play the American role so they can study the video.

The person playing the British role will have to know the turning circle of the aircraft, and be confident in their role of support (i.e. not someone who has not played the campaign on the hardest difficulty).

I played as the Italians and worked out how to draw away the Germans and generate infantry...which is priceless. A good way once you have worked out how to win the game and where to kill the nuclear artillery is to play the mission trying to draw infantry across to the Italians to destroy unprotected Flak 88's that you can place near the resources nearest the bridge. This will cause the engine to attack, via air and ground.

You are going to sustain losses, but the aim is to kill infantry.

The British should attempt zero attacks on the Germans. Their role is providing support and not getting their base crushed.

So to ensure the person playing the Italian understands he is looking to draw as many attacks as possible to himself, whilst pumping out Flak '88 in the US base to ensure no land-based units make it into the base and aerial units are taken out before they can destroy the artillery units.

The nuclear artillery needs destroying before it fires the first shot! So when organizing sessions make sure all participants have played the campaign to know what the RUSES are. Then make them watch the video above.

If they haven't done either before they turn up they are literally wasting your time.

It's a very good idea to have two experienced players carrying one player who is learning their role as the Americans. I've got multiple people through the game this way. On only one occasion did I play with 2 other people who had played the game and completed the campaign on the hardest difficulty.

That was by far the least stressful way of attempting this mission. I drew enemy attacks while providing Flak 88's to the right places, British spotted and used 'Spy' effectively and the Americans systematically flattened all resources, starting with the airport and factories.

There's not many people have done this and that is for a reason. Typically if you ask for advice, or help you will be ignored because they already know the learning curve required.

So the fastest way is to find 2 other people who know what they are doing (i.e. have completed the campaign on hardest difficulty) then watch the video then pick a role and stick with it following my advice.
