On the whole, hard isnt too bad. It has a few tough spots though:

- The blue lightning logo when enemys attack that tells you when to counter is gone. Therefore, be very attentive to enemys. To get around this, jump around over enemys a lot more and dont get surrounded.
- The boss fight against Ivy wasnt too bad for me but I know a lot of people struggle with it. The best advice I can give is to tap LT to quick batarang her and keep doing that while dodging. When she starts lifting guys in avoid fighting where possible and keep dodging. Also, stick to the outside of the areas so when she launches the vines you only have one way to dodge.
- Just before Ivy, the hardest part for me is where you fight a Titan and a bunch of goons by a lift shaft - this was a nightmare for me because its so small. Dodge, concentrate on the Titan and once he is down play it safe with the remaining bad guys - if you die you have to do it all again. UPDATE - Keep on to the titan and take down as many goons as possible. There are 3-4 waves of bad guys and easily 10-12 in each of the last few waves. It is such a small space just keep going for instant takedowns where possible.
- For the Joker fight, use the electric fence as much as possible for instant takedowns. When you have one or two guys left make sure that Joker is not watching (ie looking at the helicopter) or he will send in another wave. Finish them quick and grapple him down.
- Armor upgrades are very important, so is inverted takedown and the combo upgrades (combo upgrade, instant takedown and throw). Sonic batarang is relatively useless unless you want a cheap kill, but others may prefer it. I rarely used it.
- UPDATE - I found Bane a lot tougher than when I previously played on Hard. Where in other modes you can hit him when dazed I would NOT recommend this until his health bar is depleted enough to jump up and knock his tubes out. If he regenerates, so what? He only does it once per health bar. Just keep dodging and quick batarang, and keep jumping and dodging the guards. Take one or two out to thin the crowd but they are not your priority as more will keep coming.

A play through on easy or normal is recommended first to learn how to fight and sneak. If you do that you should be OK with this. Please note unlocking this unlocks the other achievements too (Big Bang and Bigger Bang) if you do not have them already.
