Easy to do on the first level.

Kill every ennemies and collect all gems and you'll break the 160.000 points easily.
Got 172200 myself and I missed a few gems at the end on the "moving stair".

spletchieWhat I didn't realize until my third time through this level is that there are about 8 gems right at the very beginning. Instead of following Totec out the door after blowing it open, if you turn around and run up the stairs behind you, you'll see them around the border of the platform (you can also see them in the background when you're running across an upper walkway after the stairs). Picking these up at the start made the difference for me in breaking 160k by the end of the level.

Shinerbock88This is weird. I've got every objective on the first level done (except for the time attack run) and this achievement didn't pop for me, nor did the one about collecting the ten red skulls. There's a red X in all the relevant boxes but still no achievement.

Anyone have this issue or know why this happened?

If your playing Co-op, like me, you can pick up gems for 2600 points. But when i play Solo, i pick up a gem for 1200 points.

So if your playing Co-op then you can ask the other player if they wouldnt mind just letting you do everything (Collecting Gems, Killing Enemies) and then flip it the other way for the other person.

The achievement unlocks in game just as you hit the score, you do not have to finish with a score of ---,---.

BlinkFandangoIIThis should definitely be the top solution, you get way more points for the gems and even if your friend gets hit you don't lose the multiplier unless you get hit.

    FistMyTooterIt's "you're", not "your".

To get the highest score possible in any level, you must avoid being hit/damaged/dead. After some killing without being damaged, you will get 2-3x more score for the same enemies. On some levels, you will need this, as the high scores can be pretty high. Of course the first level is very easy even if you get damaged, so for the achievement only, you should just explore Temple Grounds thoroughly.

The above doesn't apply to the gems, they always are worth the same score. Combat difficulty doesn't matter, you can do this on Easy.
