A quick walkthrough for this mission -

1. Full steam ahead, after some talk from Command you will notice a yellow dot on your minimap in the lower right hand corner. This is the enemy ship. Feel free to remain surfaced; it comes into play in the second half.

2. Blast it with your deck gun, or to be safe, use torpedoes and bring the Nazi ship down.

3. Do a 180° turn to your right and keep going full steam ahead.

4. You will notice a bay or more open area on your left. Pull up with your sides parallel to the banks of the harbor and park about midway past the bay mentioned earlier.

5. You will now be facing waves of bombers followed by fighters flying from your left side. Use your deck gun and blast the planes out of the sky as best as you can, always keeping the gun aimed above any other ships. If they go past you, don't worry about it.

6. Eventually the waves will slow up from coming at you on the left, and waves will start returning from the right (city) side. They won't shoot at you or try to bomb you, so blast away.

This should help you get past this simple mission without hitting a friendly.

tl;dr version - Aim your torpedoes directly at enemy ship, aim deckgun above all other ships.
