Ok so I did this for hours last night and finally developed a strategy.
Ok so what you are gonna want to do is run up fast with low knees(meaning keep you feet really close to the ground barely picking them up off the ground) this is because when you get to the throwing zone you want to have enough time to stop, lower your body, and throw. For me I would throw my arm at about the hight of my kinect sensor which is about 5.8ft off the ground. This should deffinitly give you the power you want in the throw.
For me I am right handed but I used my left hand.(I think it is eaier with the left hand) So grab the javelin with your left hand and do what I said above but when you throw stop before so you arm would be like the image to the right letting the \ be your arm. \•
Once you've developed the skills above. You should start to experiment different spots to stop at.for example...
let the @ sign be where you stop at when you are throwing the javilin readjust until you get close. Now instead of an @ sign next to your tv you might have a lamp,dvds, spots on the wall, or anything that you can recognize to stay consistant with that shot.
This method will hit the tv to the left
I know I will get negatives but maybe you can use, or build a strategy off of my strategy and good luck to all of you.
After many try's you will develop the throw be as consistent as possible when you find the area by the tv.
