Its worth being said that this achievement can get glitched by unknown reasons. When it does happen, this glitch will cause your star count to reset whenever you turn off the game/xbox. Say you have 500 stars and you play till you have 750, if you cut the game off you will go back to having 500 stars. Meaning, that you will have to get the rest of your stars without turning off the game. This happened to me and I'll have to get 1743 stars...

But so far, what is working for me and taking less time then other solutions is by playing a lot of Deathmatch. Play on whatever map you know all the weapon locations for and just start racking up them 5 star kills or kill with traps. Also, make sure to set the maximum number of AI on easy to get kills a lot faster.

Good luck, and I hope the glitch does not happen to you. Its not that bad of a grind but if you are not skilled at the game it may take you a few hours or so.

EDIT: Just to point out, since you never know how far something can be glitched. Do NOT worry about going over 2000. I went over by 125, playing a 30min Deathmatch.

Auston53Yeah I just found out it happened to me and I have 421 stars so I'll probably have to play 4 hours straight.

OMG iTz SlovThis is the superior method for sure!!! Was able to average between 250 to 350 stars per 30 minute match. I chose the second map because of the falling floor which resulted in countless triple and multi kills!

    Thanks for the solution!!! +1clap

(Repost from my Xbox360a thread on this achievement. Thought it would be useful as it would add a bit of clarity to what's been provided thus far.)

Just thought I'd share my method to get 2000 stars quickly (relatively speaking of course). Unfortunately, you'll need at least one partner to do this.

Start a Deathmatch game (very important, so you get max stars for all kills) in a Player match (so you don't get disrupted by other LIVE players). Select Vegas as your map (not required, but its what I used). Invite your partner.

So have your partner run immediately to the upstairs bar, where the tesla trap is. Have him stand there while you trigger the trap (5 stars). Walk over to his body and humiliate (1 star). Wait for you partner to come back and have him trigger the trap on you and humiliate (5 + 1 stars for them).

Rinse and repeat until you both hit 2000

Since you're using a trap, you'll always get the max deathmatch stars (6), and you don't have to worry about weapons collection and changing weapons lists. Further, since the only stat you really need is speed (attack and defense don't affect traps), you can quick rest in the chairs right outside the bar while waiting for your partner to return to stay at top speed.

My partner and I tested this method and got around 90 stars apiece in a 15 minute deathmatch. Using that as a benchmark, two people can hit 2000 in slightly over two hours of gameplay. If you concentrate on boosting one person, they can probably be done in about an hour and a half.

this also is pretty much self explanitory.. you just gotta keep playing and getting those 5 star kills in.. use traps as often as you can as they give you 5 star kills aswell, although i dont think that works if you use the same trap two times in a row, i did and the second time i used the same trap i only got 1 star..

you could also set the scene time limit to the max and ai to easy, that way you would rack up a fair few stars on scenes like statue, infected and hunt the leader.

update: this can be done in player/ranked/solo matches

update no2: ive managed to get in a few ranked matches now and to do this quickly i suggest boosting in ranked deathmatch with 1 other player. the player going for the stars should just find a trap near the center of the map and then have player no2 keep running into it.
i done this on the haunted house map with a friend and used the trapped room in center(room that seals shut and then gets fire blown out of the fireplace). my friend kept spawning and running in there and i would trap him, then when room opened back up i would run up to his corpse and humiliate him giving me 6 stars per kill...
when the player getting killed runs into the room, he needs to stand near the couch out of view from the guard by one of the doors, just so he doesn't bust you when your humiliating your dead friend, although that still might happen a few times as there is a guard on the floor above doing his rounds that might spot you.. no big deal really as his stun wont kill you and you only lose 1 star. at the end of one 20min match i had racked up 259 stars, with room for improvement..

so if you take turns at maches and move fast in the matches i think you could get near the 300 star mark per match, you and your friend should both have this cheevo between 4 - 5hrs and thats with both players starting with 0 stars each... if you've already got some stars then obviously this will take less time.

Ace Chewiei didn't have this problem when i boosted.. but i hear its a common problem now.
i tried to find out if there is a workaround or a fix for this problem, but came up with nothing..

as far as i can tell players are getting the stars they need in the 1 session..

KILL IT NOWit appears two person death match stars dont count for achievement but showon leader board as if they count . i would check after each game to make sure that the stars go on in the achievement list not the leaderboard

Ace Chewieif i remember correctly you have to let the game finish on its own for stars to count.. if you press any button to speed along the last few screens the stars get wiped for some reason.

dont quote me on this though, i havent played this since about a week after it was released and my memory is not so good..
