This solution is for you 100% purists out there. And is centered on the last two memories that make up the final rescue mission.

The mission itself is fairly simple, as jvest stated, just "Trojan" your way in, but getting to the end without losing a health square is annoying, to say the least.

If you're doing this alone, that is.

If you've been slouching on recruiting assassins for your brotherhood, then best start cracking this sequence - by destroying Borgia towers to open up recruitment slots and then actually recruiting civilians - so you have a sizable army to call upon. For those not familiar with using their assassinos, notice the prompt you get sometimes on the upper left telling you in various forms to call your assassins.

A red sectionalized bar will tell you how many calls you have available. (One call per section, one section for every 2 assassins you recruit. I had a 3 section maximum. Don't know yet if you can increase that number.)

Pressing LB when focused on an enemy will call forth an attack by your fellow assassin brothers and sisters.

Make sure you have 3 sections on that bar! The Arrow Storm skill it allows you will be very important later.

NOTE: Your assassins would also be very helpful in collecting the 20 uniforms you needed for the rescue, since detecting other assassins in that case doesn't count as detecting you. (The uniforms may be roughed up a bit though. ;>)

For the first part of the rescue mission:

While Trojan-ing, try to keep out of the fight as much as possible, as joining in counts as being detected most of the time - unless you manage to be really sneaky - AND risks you being hit! Best way is to call on your assassins for the soldiers on the ground, taking care of the ones on the roof yourself.

Desynching the main memory will only reset you to the nearest checkpoint but failing the 100% objective will require you to restart the whole memory regardless of desynching to last checkpoint. Most of you may have figured that out by now, but keep that fact in mind.

Also keep in mind that your calls may need recharging but desynching doesn't affect the recharge progress. So if you haven't recharged your assassin calls back to 3 before the main gate, it may pay to intentionally desynch by being detected so you can give the recharge more time.

Once you confront the French baron, you'll be required to dispatch 3 more soldiers barring your pursuit. Instead of risking your health bar fighting them, hold LB to call on Arrow Storm to take out all the enemy targets in your sight. That will take out your target soldiers and complete the first memory with 100%.

The second part of the rescue mission:

The 100% objective this memory is to rescue the hostage within a set time. This is easy to do as long as you keep your battles short, which means don't dally with the soldiers unless you have to.

Run up the stairs and follow the French baddie (or checkpoint markers on your minimap) to a barred gate. Dispatch the prerequisite set of target guards around there with help from your assassins if available. Open the gate with the B interact button on the gate control wheel and run inside.

You'll see a little fortified battlement surrounded by guards with the baron and hostage holed up in the center courtyard and be met with the direction to reach the French baron undetected.

The best route is to the right where only a lone guard stands initially with back to you. Take that moment to take him out from behind.

Run ahead from there and wait until the guard at the wall walks away so that you can run up the wall to the roof.

You'll have to act quickly as the soldiers will spot you. You may already see suspicion arrows appearing. Look down into the courtyard and LT the baron to highlight him for an aerial assassination.

Press X before the guards go to full alert and you'll have him!

    Well done!

(NOTE: I didn't call on my assassins for the last sequence since just running up the wall and jumping the baron seemed less time consuming, but feel free to try if you feel the need.)

Greedy136In the Trojan mission my assassins killed only one of the three special soldiers with their Arrow Storm (but killed several other troops :P). If this happens to somebody else, run away and climb up one of the smaller buildings. Run a few meters, turn around and prepare your gun to shoot the guards after they have climbed up. The gun is faster than the crossbow and there are no problems when the enemy is very close.

WayensOuch on the miss, but glad it worked out. And thanks for the gun tip! I guess gunpowder has enough kick to avoid grabby guards. lol
