Yusei is a very tough opponent, while not as hard as jack he is still very order to fight him you must reach him in the single player mode(the game randomizes between jack and Yusei as the final opponent)

His General Strategy will be to use nimble Momonga's(when you destroy one you can set all Nimble Momonga's from your deck to your field, they also increase his lifepoints by 1000 when they are destroyed by battle) and Mix them with the Junk Synchron and make the Junk Warrior, then he will a Quillbolt Hedgehog, bring back the Junk Synchron and combine it with Junk warrior and make Stardust Dragon, or more Junk warriors

What your gonna wanna do is stop him from getting that far

The best way i found to do this was to make sure i had plenty of Destruction cards like Bottomless trap hole,Sacrificial torrent(i think thats the name), Fissure, ETC and save them for his Power cards, also make use of cards like mind control(key card that helped me win) Saruketsu Armor(names not right but similar, sorry :/), for this fight you have to bait him into destroying his own cards when he attacks you.

if your fighting and dont like the way its going, or just dont like your hand you can always quit from battle and continue story, it will land you back at the start of the fight. do this as many times as you need to.

Theres not much i can say other than prepare your deck for what he has, and if you honestly dont think you can beat him after a few tries than start the single player from the beginning and try getting better cards so you can end him early.

if all else fails just trust in the heart of the cards!

TurboTony19Only thing i could add to this is that Yusei likes to use 'The Calculator' Monster card which multiplies the levels of all his monsters into attack points. If he places it early with low ATK points, doesn't matter what card you use, get rid of it before it becomes a massive problem later.

GuruThaGreatI just got this achievement. For the first duel, I more or less used the strategy from this guide to win. However, the second duel was just... bizarre. On my first turn, I summoned a Mechanicalchaser (normal monster with an ATK of 1850) and killed his Nimble Momonga activating its effect. Standard stuff, but then on his next turn, Yusei played Mage Power... and equipped it to my Mechanicalchaser. He had a total of 3 Magic/Trap cards on the field which gave my monster +1500 ATK/DEF. For there he proceeded to go out of his way to keep summoning Junk Synchrons, leave them in ATK mode, and let me do 2000+ damage to him every turn. He eventually got a Junk Warrior out, but I killed it with a trap and Monster Reborned it to my side of the field. That Junk Warrior was the only thing he did the whole game that resembled trying to win. Other than that, I was handed the game on a silver platter. I'm not complaining but I'm thoroughly confused as to why that happened.

Sorry to be a bit long winded, but I felt like I had to share.

Deck Build & Tips for Beating Yusei

You can exit any match at any time prior to the WIN/LOSE screen by pushing the START button and exiting. If things are looking grim just exit and try again.

Any significantly strong deck can beat Yusei's deck. You never want a deck with more than 40 cards and a good ratio to follow is:

    20 Monsters
    10 Spells
    10 Traps

This ensures that when your hand is dealt that you will consistently get cards you can use.

I beat Yusei with a 6 Samurai Deck with these cards if you want to copy me:

    Monsters x20:

    Armed Samurai - Ben Kei
    D.D. Survivor x2
    Enishi, Shiens's Chancellor
    Grandmaster of the Six Samurai
    Great Shogun Shien
Hand of the Six Samurai x2
    The Immortal Bushi
    Mataza the Zapper x2
The Six Samurai - Irou x2
    The Six Samurai - Nisashi
The Six Samurai - Yaichi x2
    The Six Samurai - Yariza
The Six Samurai - Zanji x2
    Spirit of the Six Samurai

    Traps x9:

    Bottomless Trap Hole
    Dimensional Prison
    Double Edged Sword Technique
    Kunai with Chain x2
    Magic Cylinder
    Magic Jammer
    Sakuretsu Armor
    Scrap-Iron Scarecrow

    Spells x11:

    Axe of Dispair x2
    Heavy Storm
    Legendary Ebon Steed
    Level Limit - Area B
    Monster Reborn
    Six Scrolls of the Samurai
    Smashing Ground
    Swords of Revealing Light
    Wave-Motion Cannon

Bare in mind I played over a hundred matches before I had all of these cards.

If you don’t mind spending an extra $2,99 on the game: I beat him first try with this deck from the Xbox Store:

    Worms Unity Deck
A deck with crafty Worms and Fusion monsters. (Compatible with Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels Plus and Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium Duels.)

Your winning strategy is to summon the Worm Zero (Fusion Monster). In order to summon it you either need the Polymerisation card + 2 monsters (hand or playfield) or the Future Fusion Card. The latter practically is an instant win since it allows you to fuse Worm Zero from 6+ Monsters from your deck which unlocks Worm Zeros special triple ability - each turn: You can destroy as many enemy monsters per turn as you want (as long as you have monsters in your graveyard), you can summon a Monster from your graveyard and you can draw an additional card.
