Let's get the obvious out of the way first and make sure we set everything up properly:

Single Player
Open Match
Select Snowboard Cross
Choose the Advanced Course

Here are my two cents:

Pick any character with their speed maxed out. To do this, follow these steps below:

As one example, select the team - Boost Force. Once selected, move your hand cursor over the two arrows that's pointing at a generic person icon. On the following screen, titled Team Management, swap the default player (Billy, in this instance) with Jay, the one with the highest speed attribute. Once both are selected and swapped, then move your hand cursor over to the OK button. Now, we can start the race!

The first few times I attempted this, no matter how perfectly I ran the course, I thought by simply bending forward, towards the screen, was the only thing I needed to do to go fast. I usually ended around the 2'26" mark when I ran a flawless race. The key to this is to perform an air trick at the ramps because this lands you a boost perk. In order to land these is that you should straighten up your body a few seconds before actually reaching the ramp. You can tell you have perfect posture by the dot that is at the bottom of the screen, which should be in the center of that box.

To do an air trick, the loading screen shows you how, which is just the twisting movement of your upper body. The way I personally did it was that I dropped both arms to one side and then twisted them around in the way that felt natural to the opposite side, in an upward motion.

Another thing I should point out is that you should obviously not fall down and avoid skidding into the sides, as that drastically slows you down. Also, you don't need to do a perfect speed run. I believe I fell down twice and still unlocked the achievement at the end.
