How to unlock the The Eagle's Landed achievement

    Another tip of the achievement is if the Eagle grabs your kid , Quickly press the home button on your phone

    And you will restart from the last checkpoint it saved , and still be able to earn the achievement as you can avoid the eagle grab him again =)

    Remember this can be done troughout the Campaign and it will prevent you from not being able to earn and avoid another playtrough

    But bear in mind all your kids have to be alive when reaching Oregon...good luck

    JORAXAn eagle got one of my kids, and I hit home and reloaded. I got to Oregon with all kids alive and this achievement didn't pop. You can see I have Dad of the Year and not this one, which seems basically impossible I would think (how can everyone have survived if an eagle did successfully attack?).

    Every now and then, there will be a bird in the distance, and one of your family members will make a comment about it. Just make sure to tap the screen when prompted to kill the eagle, and it can't get your kids. The achievement unlocks when you reach Oregon.

    OsirisAlso if your child gets eaten by a snake the achievement will not pop. I have gone thru 3 play thrus and havent had my kids caught by a eagle but they have been eaten by a snake.

    Goldfire64Also your kids have to be alive when you get to Oregon. I managed to have them avoid eagles and snakes only to have them die of Disease and not get the acheivement

    If you see a member of the family say the following:

    - Betcha can't shoot the eagle/bird
    - Eagles are so majestic

    An eagle will appear on the screen and you'll be prompted to shoot it, click on the screen when prompted to shoot it. When you get to Oregon, you got yourself an achievement.
