How to unlock the Famine achievement

An easier solution if you're no good at grenade jumping is using a deployable cover. At the beginning of the level when you defeat the first bunch of enemies if you go around the bodies a while you'll get a deployable cover. Go to where you would normally grenade jump, place the DP in front of the beam, jump on the DP then the beam, walk up and get the skull and you've done it! Hope this guide helps everyone!

P.S If you don't know where I'm on about when I say `the place where you would normally grenade jump` watch one of the videos in another solution to find out where you need to go.

CracKforBrumakNot really an excellent guide when it doesn't even tell you what level to get the skull on.

SANDROCKLQI used the deploy able shield and the crouch jump technique. The hardest part is jumping off the shield because it is a curved surface and you tend to slide off of it.

Here is my HD Game Guide for all the Skulls and Terminals in Halo 3. I have it in HD with in depth commentary to make the guide as easy to follow as possible. Every item has a timestamp in the video description. The timestamp for this skull is: 05:02

The other solutions work, but the easiest way to get this achievement is to use 2 controllers or play with someone else. When you get to the overhang where the skull is, have your partner or 2nd controller stand against the wall and jump on their head. Jump in the air, make the other player jump in the air right after you and then jump off their head one more time and you should be able to reach the skull. It is basically a triple jump.
If you are using an extra controller, just leave it alone until you get to the skull, make player2 kill himself and he it will respawn right next to you.
