Halo Reach Defiant Map Pack Review
-The map pack has a beautiful set of maps to it, that have not only great design within, but also have amazing scenery in the outside of the maps. The maps in the pack Condemned (takes place aboard a space station which has taken heavy damage and overlooks the now half glassed Reach), Highlands (A giant spartan training ground, which has great symmetrical feeling) and Unearthed (A Firefight only map which is a mining area for the vast quantities of titanium in the area) each map is a fair size, although I wish that Unearthed was also a multiplayer map as it has a cool feel to it. Highlands is defiantly a fantastic map for any kind of objective games and Condemned is a quite large map that varies room to room, but most of the action is focused in the no-grav zone in the middle.

The Conclusion

-This is defiantly one of the best map packs I have seen in a while, it brings beauty and great design as an addition to Halo Reach. Despite having only two true multiplayer maps, they are great and even Unearthed is an interesting map for Firefight. Join the Defiance and fight in what is left of Reach.

Halo Reach is without a doubt a fun game to be had but once you beat the singleplayer most will probably jump into the multiplayer. Bungie recently released a new map pack called The Defiant Map Pack for 800 Microsoft Points. This DLC comes with 2 new multiplayer maps which are Highlands and Condemned. Highlands is a map that is very different than past Halo maps as there are many ways to get across the map instead of the normal road that everybody takes. This map has nice scenery to blend in chaos with beauty. Condemned is another multiplayer map in which your on a space carrier which has a area in the middle in which there is no gravity. Both are fun maps which you can lose hours on end on these Matchmaking maps. Due to popular demand, Bungie even added a new firefight map titled Unearthed as people wanted a more vehicular firefight map. This map is large and fun to play on and helps us fall in love with this feature as it shines a new light on Future DLC. This map pack also comes with 3 new achievements although they can be done in Custom games.
