I also completed both games ages ago, but don't remember it were so painful, did something change?

Looks like there are no token or coin packs available to purchase on Windows 8 now. Already gone it seems.

I just checked and I did most of the Windows 8 version except I am level 51. I quit right after the lvl50 cheevo.

For the record, they've stated June 30th, July 15th, and July 30th for shutdown dates, so YMMV on what they're going with at this point. In-game still indicates June 15th for IAP and "July" for shutdown, and points to the January post on Facebook... and the March post on Facebook is what moved it up to May 30th/June 30th.

For anyone wondering, no there's nothing you can buy to get a permanent XP boost. There is the thing you can buy with coins at the beginning of the match so hopefully that'll continue to be available

Nope, not going to start the game now, don't think Ill be able to put 200+ hours on it.
