Yes, but do it on the website, much easier. Just need to buy from the US version of the site - I claimed the Zoo Tycoon game on the japanese website the other day and when I looked at my own danish version in the danish store, I owned it there.

I believe it's free in the japanese store. It's the Xbox One version though, in case you were looking for the X360 version (and claiming games from different regions is a whole other beast on the old console)
