Why not? I've played some of the first game, it was pretty fun.

Was too different to the original. Change can be good but I think they tried to change too much with the GBA versions.

It was one on the GBA and one on the DS, GBA one is solid but I hated the DS one so much I sold it after 2 days.

I still have my guides for VII, X, and X-2...looking forward to revisiting some fond memories from high school...

Hopefully you didn't buy the guide for FFIX, still the worst players guide I've ever seen.

I think this is great. Awesome and exciting. I just hope they bring Final Fantasy one through 6 also and bring the whole collection together.

Agreed, first off it was on a mobile gaming platform which was the first turn off for me. I really enjoyed playing on a console with a full screen. Also I was watching game play and it did not excite me much.

Anyway does anyone know if Final Fantasy X and X-2 are going to have separate achievement lists like on the Playstation? I loved Final Fantasy X and not sure I would want to automatically commit to playing X-2 as a package deal.
    The Fox Rocks!

FINALLY!!! Take all my money now! Give me IV, VI, & VIII too! Then why not Chrono Trigger?
    All bleeding stops eventually.

Anyone know why VIII is not included? Seems a bit strange to leave it out.

Oh god.... The Jump Rope Achievement.....
That's nothing. What about the Excalibur II?

    Now that would be challenging.
Jump rope will be way more difficult. The FF9 remaster allows you to turn off encounters and deal 9,999 damage on all attacks. Excalibur II will be easy.
My main issue with Excalibur II was that you had so little time that it had to be your sole purpose of the play through. Only played the original so never had those remaster options.

It won't be a problem with the option to turn off random encounters and one hit most bosses. You could already skip cutscenes in the original and in the remasters. Given these new options and a little knowledge of the game, you can probably make an Excalibur II run in 5-6 hours.

Hopefully this is a sign that we will get the kingdom hearts releases as well. The more JRPGs on Xbone, the better
