Kinda lame only 4 DLC's are being offered for "Tropico 4" when they never want to put the complete edition on sale :-\

Unless they add more to the list before morning
If you mean Tropico 5 (which the DLC on sale is for), the complete edition was on sale just 2 months ago.

Is Black Mirror a good game, or is it just good for gamerscore?

I want Black Mirror at $8, but I'd rather have the physical version even if I have to pay a little more for it. *sigh*, to be a physical collector in a world full of digital :)

Shadow of the Tomb Raider being 25% off within a month of release is absolutely disgusting. And not even just the regular edition but Croft and Digital Deluxe as well. Screw all of us who bought launch day and supported the developers!!
Early adopters should understand from their initial purchase, the value will only go down on the goods and they are paying the maximum price for them. That there will be a sale in the future and they are paying the premium to play it at its earliest. No reason to complain.
Ask me about my rock collection.

Wow Shadow of the Tomb Raider is already on sale.
yep, and that's not a good sign for them. but, it's slightly cheaper for me than if i used my GCU discount at best buy. so, i'm grabbing tomb raider this week.

I was tempted to be cheeky & ask Microsoft for a refund for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, even though I’ve finished it, Stick £5 on my account & get the Croft Edition laugh

I know they won’t, as I could just use the £55 Credit to get something else, but it’s worth a try wink
I did this last year with Wolfenstein 2. I bought it for $60 at launch and within like 2 weeks it all went on sale. I asked Microsoft for a refund through the support chat so that I can buy the ultimate edition for the same price of $60 and they let me. I think you can only do a refund either once a year or once ever unless it’s a really valid reason but you can try.

Thanks for the heads up on Black Mirror I've been wanting that. I want Child of Light to go on sale on 360 but I'm close to giving up on that.
Yeah I've been waiting for Child of Light and Valiant Hearts to go on sale for thr 360 for a while
As often as Ubi stuff is in the sales you'd think they would be. I do think Valiant Hearts actually has been at least once though because I own it and don't think I would have paid full price.
Valiant Hearts was games with gold before so you may have it from that.
Never mind I see you were talking about the 360 version

I'm probably gonna pick The Bridge. Any thoughts on that ? I could use a puzzle game.

I suppose you could technically say that this is a "sale".
I'm always willing to help other players boost achievements even if I already have them. Just ask!

Really lame week... Maybe Black Mirror for a future GS boost...

And Shadow of the TR already discounted is a serious slap in our faces. With a glove covered in glass. Dipped in vinegar.
Please do not be one of those entitled launch-day buyers. It is 25% off for some reason and I don't think it's lack of sales, nor is it to annoy launch-day buyers. It's to push some sales before RDR2 hits. You bought the game launch day - or even pre-ordered it, because you could not wait to get the game, not to support the developers. You still support the developers if you wait a few weeks or two months and buy the game 20-25% off.
I will be playing video games at the retirement home when the time comes. If I can.

Exactly. It can be frustrating when you see a couple weeks later that people can buy the game you bought at full price for a cheaper price, but you have to know it's going to be on sale by black friday at the latest. This is why I wait for sales for every game I buy now (this and my backlog). The overreactions at seeing a game go on sale should embarrass people. I for one am glad the game is on sale, and it makes me think this week is actually pretty solid.

Calrethi said:What a mean attitude. The author takes on his own time to make these articles and he does it for free.

If you can't endure it, then go look elsewhere.
You do realise these articles are automatically generated right? No one writes them.
If they don’t post one for the games that went on sale yesterday, then it should be included in todays, otherwise the article is pointless.
EDIT- the author is also the site owner, so hardly working for free...
My bad, I didn't know that.
I am the Store Integration Manager, so my responsibility is the Prices & Sales on games. I also look after the One & 360 sale articles.
So even though the article is automatically generated, it still needs motoring. If for some reason it didn't get automatically generated, I manually generate one (Though it still gets labeled as Rich). For example, somewhat recently a 360 sales week arrived a day late, so I manually generated one: Xbox 360 Sale Roundup: August 29th, 2018
And yes, I look after it all for free. Only a few people on TA get paid.

But back to the original question, Tuesday is when the weekly sales always start. So that is when the articles get created.
So the better question is, why did Microsoft decide to do some sales a day early.
We have no way or merging two sale days into one article. Maybe in the future, but I can't guarantee that.

Wow the new TR game is already discounted. That has gotta piss off those that shelled out the full price only 3 weeks ago. Guess it's not doing good. That game has the most annoying Youtube ads ever not surprised!

They’re trying to get as much profit as they can before bigger games come out. Today only you can actual save a few more bucks on Shadow of the Tomb Raider if you go through Amazon.

I figured as much however imo it makes it come off as a weak product when I see a sale so quickly but this time of year is bad for any release thats not catored to teenagers. Either way I wont be buying a Square Enix game until Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 are on the Xbox One.... warning

Paying a higher price for a game would mainly benefit the publisher, too, right? I assume devs get X amount of money from a publisher to make a game (like a bank loan) and then the publisher sells the game to make back that investment. I have no personal experience in this, so I could be horribly wrong, but that makes sense to me. If I'm wrong, please correct me!

Either way, I'm happy to see the game on sale. I waited to buy it because I have yet to play Rise of the Tomb Raider. I'm in no hurry to pick up this one. Gonna be too busy with Red Dead Redemption 2, Fallout 76, HITMAN 2, and Spyro anyways! music
