And Shadow of the TR already discounted is a serious slap in our faces. With a glove covered in glass. Dipped in vinegar.
Please do not be one of those entitled launch-day buyers. It is 25% off for some reason and I don't think it's lack of sales, nor is it to annoy launch-day buyers. It's to push some sales before RDR2 hits. You bought the game launch day - or even pre-ordered it, because you could not wait to get the game, not to support the developers. You still support the developers if you wait a few weeks or two months and buy the game 20-25% off.
Paying a higher price for a game would mainly benefit the publisher, too, right? I assume devs get X amount of money from a publisher to make a game (like a bank loan) and then the publisher sells the game to make back that investment. I have no personal experience in this, so I could be horribly wrong, but that makes sense to me. If I'm wrong, please correct me!
Either way, I'm happy to see the game on sale. I waited to buy it because I have yet to play Rise of the Tomb Raider. I'm in no hurry to pick up this one. Gonna be too busy with Red Dead Redemption 2, Fallout 76, HITMAN 2, and Spyro anyways!

War...war never changes.
