If I were to buy Middle-Earth: SoW and then also the Season Pass, it would be 22.50.
If I were to buy the Definitive Edition, which includes the base game + the season pass and literally nothing else, it's 24.
Am I missing something? Or is buying them separately a better deal?
Yes, about $1.50
In New Zealand the DE is $72, the Game is $28 and the Pass is $16, so we are missing about $28. Needless to say I purchased the game for $12.50 (plus currency exchange fee) from US store, and put a $15 credit towards the pass on the NZ store.
Of course if you live in the US you can get the physical DE cheaper still in the shops.
It would be because DE has only recently released, and so isn’t discounted as much. However the person setting the discounts must not be familiar with the game, or may not even play games.
