Any really tough achievements?

Hello all.

I'm considering Warframe as my next completion, I've heard great things about the game. Coming off of Neverwinter and Destiny, so am used to grinding and things taking time. The most problematic achievements though are ones based on luck, or on gathering an x amount of people to stick around for a while.

Are there any achievements in Warframe which are particularly tricky this way? Maybe something which takes a high level of skill with multiple players (e.g. a raid, like King's Fall in Destiny), or something which takes a high level of luck (grinding drops, like the rings in Neverwinter)? Or maybe something which might soon be unobtainable?

Thanks for any answers,
-Freysi.

I think these are the most annoying ones which require at least 2 people, the solutions have some tricks and guides for them though.

WarframeSeven PrinciplesThe Seven Principles achievement in Warframe worth 708 pointsComplete all seven tests on the moon

WarframeNo BrainerThe No Brainer achievement in Warframe worth 1124 pointsAs a squad or solo, complete a Tower IV Exterminate with only headshots

Sorties are also difficult but can technically be done solo, at least some of them:

WarframeCombat SpecialistThe Combat Specialist achievement in Warframe worth 121 pointsComplete 3 Sorties

Pretty much everything else you just gotta play, play, play.

Oh! Bonus question. Is there any particular starting character combination which makes soloing things easier? I actually quite enjoy playing with others, but have learned that with a lot of these games it pays to also be able to solo very well.

Personally for me, I went after rhino as soon as I can (venus boss, the second planet) and he was huge for getting through almost the entire game solo as he is quite the tank. Nova was great for using the cloaking for sneaking through late game achievements like sorties.

As TheePasz said I would get a rhino as soon as possible and build it for strength. With the iron skin ability it makes you extremely difficult to kill and can overcome a great many bumps through early and mid game.

Get volt as your first frame and then excalibur cause he takes you through all junctions easily

Nova doesn't have cloak, that's Loki.
Nova is your slowmo and speed up character.

But seeing they made Excalibur accessible earlier in the storyline its recommended you get Volt first thing. Avoid Mag she has too much fine tweaking to make her worthwhile for newer players.

Best starter : Excalibur. Highest base DPS/AOE character.
Best easy DPS : Ember, with a good mod configuration, it's the best DPS not being a starter.
Best easy Tank : Rhino
Best easy ninja : Loki
Best heal : Trinity (not really useful if you play solo)
Best advanced Tank : Inaros
Also, there are the Prime version of them (and Prime weapons, etc.. too), but they are not making a big difference, so even if you think they would be better to have, do not focus on them, as they're just optimal boosts.

If you need any info about the game, feel free to MP me as I'm part of the Guides of the Lotus team on XB1 (sort of community helper choosed by the developpers), and it's my role to help people in this game any way I can ! Have a good time playing Warframe !
Please, be kind, you'll not regret it ;) Love you all !!!

I've gotten to spend some time on this game and I love it so far. A few things to keep in mind:
1. You'll get 50 platinum when you start up the game, this is the in-game currency that you CAN buy with real money. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE should you buy anything with it EXCEPT for Warframe slots and Weapon slots. It's 20 plat for a warframe slot and 12 for two weapon slots. Just about everything in the game is farmable and a lot of people pride themselves on not buying any platinum. I myself bought some once just because this is a great game and I believe in giving credit to the game developers when its due. Platinum allows you to speed up anything you have developing like a weapon or material or Warframe, as those items often take real life days to form, but it's really not that bad. The longest I've seen are completed Warframes and they take 3 real days.
2. As many people have suggested, your first Warframe is important. Most folks here are advocating for Volt, and while I haven't used him myself, Excalibur is an excellent choice that could carry you into the endgame if modded properly. Volt's blueprints can be bought from a clan, which you can join at Mastery Rank 2, which you should hit near the end of the first quest. Rhino is the next Warframe you can possibly get from Venus, and while most of his components are easily farmable, some of them might require you being brought into a later mission in the game to get Control Modules, which are necessary for one of his components. Of course, you could buy one for 10 plat, but again, they're easy to acquire later in the game.
3. If you want to get a free Warframe and don't mind signing up for Twitch Prime, you'll get a free Prime Warframe and a couple of prime weapons. You'll get Trinity Prime, who fulfills a healer role, and she's very sought after in end game missions, the weapons are pretty damn good too. Prime Warframes are like better, stronger versions of the base Warframes you get in the game, higher health and armor, and they just look badass. Not every Warframe has a prime version, and some of them aren't available year round. I can honestly say that she's worth signing up for Twitch Prime, cashing in on the free deal, and then deleting your Twitch Prime account if you don't want it. She comes with a free Warframe slot too, so you can still get one more Warframe for free before you have to purchase another slot.
4. Always try and be levelling up a new weapon or Warframe. Your mastery rank is a collection of all the weapons, companions, and warframes that you have levelled up, and increasing it is necessary to move further in the start chart. You're pretty much set once you hit Mastery Rank 5, but that's still a ways to go. I find its best to always have at least one weapon in each Primary, Secondary, and Melee available to swap out to once your current weapons are level 30. On that note, don't feel like you have to go into every mission with a Primary, Secondary, and Melee weapon equipped. Every mission, the XP is divided amongst your Warframe and 3 weapons, at 25% each. If you only bring in a Primary and Melee weapon for example, that XP division changes to 33% each. So you can level your equipment faster that way. Add to it that some missions have higher XP rewards depending on your weapon, an the daily login bonuses that can sometimes double your Affinity(xp) gain, it's not difficult to rank up.

I have lots of other tips, but that'll do for now!
Beep boop bop!
