I currently own two xbox 360s and two xbox 1s. I also have acces to 3 dummy accounts if meed be. Is there a scenario where I could purchase a single digital copy of a backwards compatible xbox 360 game and play it acriss all 4 machines at the same time?

Here is what im thinking:

Purchase game on xbox 360 (A) with main account
Download game on 3 other machines through main account
Play game with dummy accounts on xbox 360 (A) and two xbox1s
Play game with main account on xbox 360 (B).

Anyone see a reason why this wouldnt work based on game sharing limitations?

Nope, you need a minimum of 2 games for what you want to do. You are just doubling a duel box set up, so you need another account with a license.

The only one that wont work is one of your XB1's, the dummy account will only play on your "Home" system, For you to play on another system you have to be logged in on your main account.

You can run 3 systems with your setup however (360x2, Xb1 x1)

This is all true. Though he will need two Gold subscriptions.

Main account has Gold and plays on 360 (B)
Dummy account has Gold and plays on 360 (A)
Second dummy account has Silver and plays on his main's "home" Xbox One, via Gold sharing
