Hey guys, just wanted to start a discussion. Recently i got like 5 or more newly created accounts that added me and are showing me as females with their first posting in their feed being some malicious links to a dating page (never clicked on that) and nothing else. It is getting absolutely annoying and i reported them always.

Did you encounter such fake accounts that added you and spammed you with messages?

Yep. I've gotten 2 of them over the last week or so. I block them and move on.

You like fake females, that are probably bots or some 50yr old male that try to get your money? :D

I get about 4 every week. Usually something like girl040566 or female 6987.

Pretty hilarious how obvious the GTs make it

Had one a month or so back. "She" said there was pictures of "her" naked at the posted URL. I was tempted. Only to see what kind of scam it was, of course wink
Gordon Bennett (yeah, that's my real name [some older Brits would understand that])

At one point the reporting system was changed and now there is no option left to actually report those accounts. Why is that?

Don't get me wrong, i understand that some way has to be cleared for failsave control (i don't care if NSA wants to watch me play Farming Simulator - it's their wasted time) but there has to be another way that is not available to your casual everyday lowlife that some of those accounts clearly represent.

I've had one that started chatting in Spanish and then switched to English for the next PM which was the inevitable 'How old are you?' one. I also say I'm 12 and never have to deal with them again. Stupid chatbot doesn't want to end up in BotJail. The new annoyance is the being added to a chat with several other chatbots and maybe a real person in the 20 or so that are chatting together.

I've had about one every two days for the last week. Just generic usernames but with the same gamerpic. 0G, usually just "Yo" or "Hi" I just report the message as spam and block them.

You can still report them somewhere, I forget how but I did it twice when that 'girl' added me. Even got a thanks back from MS once too.

Last year I got a message from a "girl" who was a webcam model, and she told me she wanted to warm up before she got to work but she needed my credit card before she could do her thing to ensure it wasn't some little kid which would get her into legal trouble and I told her but I could watch porn for free laugh

I reported them and just got a mail of Xbox Live that one or more reports had been checked. I wish for an option to see which of the reported cases were "done". Are they blocked? Deleted? I have a strong feeling that reporting them does not help in a way and you get generic messages from XLive, without anything actually happening
