Are credits only used for tuning? I can exchange gold for credits but it doesn't make sense if that's the only case.

I wasted 200 gold on a daily deal for a retro car. Would've been better to buy 100 gold car cards, right? I have 5 cars and already 2 doubles.

What's up with energy? I have a few batteries but what if I run out? Wait hours to "play" the game again? Doesn't make sense if they want us to stay loyal. Too many bad mobile influences. And don't get me started on the ingame prices for real money.

So,

Credits

- Tuning packs, and upgrade car once at max tuning to next level

Gold

- Premium car spin
- Covert into credits in random spin ( I never got the 54k ever. 12k was max )
- Spanners to repair cars in game
- Specialist car card ( New with update 07.2019 )
- Energy packs ( 5 gold for 5 slots / 30 gold for full refill)

Energy

- By far the most tedious part of the game, refills one slot every 4 minutes. To figure out your current wait time use this formula for #quikmaths

- Take your level, multiply it by 4, and then divide by 60.

For example Me : Level 21 x 4 / 60 = 1.4 ( 1 hour and 40 minutes ) from empty to refill.

- The energy timer, and free car / credit time work along side each other so bare in mind if your at full energy with your game running, it WILL NOT count towards the free stuff. You have to be actually playing the game in order for it to count and chip off the timer until the next freebee.

- I had prepared a guide for this game covering the whole energy used VS gameplay rewards - but seems there a walkthrough in motion already. That said - I only ever used the full energy refill if I knew I was 100% committed to finishing a string / spotlight event / story domination.

- Energy use is all about preparation. You'll need to work back from where you are in game - and focus on what you need to progress into Episode 3.

A few , including myself have flagged the complete money spin now into the game. I would imagine they are getting all the money perks ready for mobile release some point Q4 2019. I would suggest taking a read on my review on the game, along with the forums for Episode 3.

Few tips before Episode 3

This game is 100% preparation, so plan your route along side spotlight events. Save your gold as well for repairs and energy down the line into Episode 3. Story progression, and Story Domination is BIG rewards so chip away at them as you can.

I kept track of my credit spins and the 54k Credits card is even below the shown 1% chance for me.
236 bought
181 * 3.000 = 76,7% (should be 79%)
54 * 12.000 = 22,9% (should be 20%)
1 * 54.000 = 0,4% (should be 1%)

The new 200 gold cards are to expensive imho. I keep saving my gold and spotlight chips for cars I want to upgrade or for credits. For example I just upgraded the modern street M3 with 39 spotlight cards to 4 stars so I finally have a 4 star street.
And with that you can easily dish out 300k to upgrade it to a somewhat useful level...

And the 100 gold cards and not worth it as well. The chance is just too slim to get a car you want.

Then how do I get the cars that I want? I don't even know which cars I might want, besides seeing what is needed to beat episode 3.

You're pretty much at the beginning, so a few cards are wothwile to get a stock of cars. And you get a few spins from doing the daily objectives and just the story as well. And get online every day. The last 5 days of the 24 day-rotation are 5 cars!

But it's just completly random which car you get. And from spinning all my gold in the beginning didn't give me anything. I have 6 cars with 4* now and only a single one got to 4 stars by random spins. I upgraded all the others when they were spotlight.

Episode 3 is all about the classics.

Any classic theme car you don't have will need to be worked on via the Spotlight events in order to increase your chances of getting what you need - ready for episode 3.

I had some gold and was low on credits so I decided to buy some with the gold I had. I got 3,000 credit FOURTEEN times in a row. So disappointing.

I'm at the last event of the second part of Ep 2 now and need to upgrade my modern yellow car tomorrow. I wish I had taken care of color upgrade parts every day. That's something I totally overlooked because I could run through episode 1. Tomorrow I'll hit collector level 15 and can finally dominate the last event in ep 1.

I upgraded a green car to 484 and then got an epic green 484 one in a random spin. Is there a benefit to upgrading the new car instead of keep upgrading the old one? I think I can get more duplicates on the old one because it's just rare.

And it sucks to blow 100gold on random spins for stupid 2 star cars with 415. My best car is 522, then 502 and 492.

Always upgrade Rare or Epic cars...common cars PI are very low in comparison.

Don't worry too much though mate, Episode 3 is its own bloody game! Your lucky you have the time now to prepare. Every day, this was my routine:

Domination of special upgrade ( colour events mentioned by hammer ). You will only need the exhaust, and air filter strings. Brakes you can do...but unless your going into 4* racing - its wasted energy.

Then the general upgrade events - again only exhaust and air filter - make sure you dominate.

Then...which will probably be towards the end of the day / evening ( if your letting energy recharge normally ) mop up any story events to chip away at event domination.

This game is a slow burn, so don't stress about it

I won't spend money on it. I take my time and keep hoping that I'll get lucky with random spins and spotlight events.

I can only second Alias - if you got a Golden green car (I suppose it's the Skyline, since it's the only green epic car :D) absolutely upgrade this one unless your previous green car is a classic one. A 567 classic green is absolutely essential in episode 3.
Also the Skyline is extremly good at the start thanks to AWD so you'll always have head start, even against stronger opponents.

A fully tuned 4 star golden car maxes out at 738. A silver only gets to 703...
So it's always best to upgrade the golden cars because they have more potential.

Yes, it's the Skyline. The silver one is the M3 at 522 now. I'll switch to upgrading the Skyline instead.

My other silver cars are:
Dodge Hellcat - Modern Muscle - 518
Porsche Carrera - Modern Super - 502
Mercedes 300 SL - Classic Sport - 482
Lamborghini Huracane - Modern Super - 470
Ford Focus - Modern Street - 455
Porsche 911 - Modern Super - 455
Ford Mustang Boss - Classic Muscle - 435
Nissan GT-R - Modern Super - 435
BMW M4 - Modern Sport - 435

Regular BMW Z4 - Modern Sport at 511 for the yellow events that I needed to do. But seeing the other tips above I should've upgraded the M4 - but I got that one later.

The best car to focus on right now should be getting the Ford Mustang Boss to 3 stars for the third episode, right? I farm spotlight points to get the 300 SL to 3 stars.

Having all the classic cars at 3 stars or higher is useful once you get to episode 3 as those races revolve around classic restrictions.

The lineup in EP 3 is the following:
Sports / Street / Super / Muscle

So you should focus on the Gullwing first, which is currently the spotlight car.

You can delay the Mustang quite a bit, because it took me at least 3 weeks to finally get a classic street to 3 stars after finishing the Sports event.. :S

Retro is irrelevant, right? My best is a Sport at 430 and I think I only ever saw retro during upgrade events - like today where it's only 416.

I've read all the solutions and other posts. Very helpful tips in the comments for the outdated solutions. I hope I can get all needed 3 star cars before I run out of easy gold (dominating story events etc).

Yep, Retro is not needed atm - but in the long run you should have one at about 560ish to be able to finish all the spotlight events. But this has the lowest priority. :)

Corncerning easy gold: By dominating all 3 spotlight events youll get 110 gold a day. Thats a pretty solid income. But I guess I'm one the few at this site whose still playing the game everyday although I already completed it :S
