4KHDR issues

so this is a weird one. my xbox one s wont do 4k(i think).

so my tv is a 4k Samsung 65" uhd hdr.
i have an hdmi set up to xbox one s and one for ps4 pro
the pro is fine. its set up for hdr.

xbox i go to settings display 4k, and the entire list of what my tv supports is checked off except Dolby Vision. so when i go to confirm i want 4k output, it says "sorry that didnt work". comes up with all the troubleshooting.

now on my tv in settings - general -> external device manager -> hdmi 2 (xbox), i have the UHD color on.

now heres the weird part, when its ON, the xbox shows everything is capable but it "didnt work".
now when i turn UHD color OFF on that tv setting for hdmj 2, i CAN select 4k resolution and it goes to it. but everything checked green is now yellow saying my TV is capable of better settings.

so whats the issue? this is frustrating me. i just want to use my consoles and game in 4k.

Does your second HDMI input support HDMI 2.0? As far as I know most 4kTVs only support it through the first HDMI port.
