Only guessing, but there are a few secret achievements. If they were going to kill the dog that would be a spoiler and be a secret achievement?

Or I'm just looking for a reason to not kill the dog.

Looks easy but a lot of boring collectibles like Alan wake.. only one that could be slightly difficult is to end the game killing no monsters

Walking 100 miles looks rough, we only walk about 3-4 mph on average!

Depending on how you teach him (stop going towards monsters or protect you and scold him when he takes risks), my guess is that the bad ending will be the dog running in the forest or going to attract some monster to save you and simply not come back (we could have a scene at the end like "3 months later" showing the main character going back every single week to call for his dog), and the good ending will be you staying behind and the dog safely escaping, being found by a sheriff car, taking the sheriff back to the cabin and there's nothing there...

In a related topic, any news at all about Resident Evil 8? We know they've been working on it like crazy, that it's supposed to happen on some sort of island, but what else?

Kinda bummed actually - REALLY wanted some hard Achievements to kick my ass from this game, since it looks astounding and it would be cool to have some really tough challenges while I'm replaying it. Praying to god they add a small-window Challenge or two when it releases...something worthy of pinning to my feed lol. Super hyped to play as Ellis, either way. He seems like an awesome character!
