does anyone know if you can at some point disconnect your console and in case something bad happens, perhaps you can simply delete your save, connect the console online and fetch the save from the cloud?

maybe someone has tried this and can tell me whether or not this would work

    edit:

I'm putting together a set of 'tips'. ideally, just not die, but for those going for the achievements, it may be frustrating to be close to the end and then have to start over, so if there are grey-area methods out there, I personally would like to know them

    - use photo mode to pause the game when necessary
    - dashboard (quit app) to prevent save deletion
    - play offline and sync from time to time to recover save (?)
    - turn off network (in-game) option to avoid bumping into ill-intentioned players

No, we can only connect with mobile data by creating a network on your phone, because I played so I lost a lot of achievements and games.

ahem, I'm not sure what you are saying dude, but it doesn't seem in any way related to what I asked. do you even play no man's sky? or own an xbox one?
