I hope to be done before the end of December.
Race is on then, can I finish the game myself before you finish the walkthrough

I find some of the campaign missions brutal, specifically ones where you don't have an economy to run. I'm not good at micromanaging an army!
Yeah, I'm a turtle death ball guy myself in RTS, but in general those missions are some of the easier in the game. The brutal achievements are the time limit ones where if you
only had to micro units it'd be easier than also having to do the economy :)
My best recommendation if you find those missions tough is to remember your stances and formations and try to split up your units into control groups instead of issuing orders en masse; for example, if your monk is in your main group when you attack a unit he'll try and convert it instead of healing—which may be what you want, since the enemy will often beeline for the monk to try and kill him, or it may not, since your monk won't be healing and he's at greater risk of dying.
Beyond that slowing down the game speed dynamically will help you react. At the slowest speed you can effectively peel back the units that are taking the most damage, have them run away and then circle back. Also, always use your hero units to tank the most damage; if you need to wait two minutes afterwards for him or her to heal up, it's still no units lost.
