After going through this list, actually a REALLY good week as far as lower prices than previous, and a couple of rare/never-on-sale games up for sale this week.

1942 Joint Strike has NEVER been on sale as far as I can tell.
Sid Meier's Pirates! (Xbox Original) has also never been on sale as far as I know.
Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting last went on sale 8+ years ago (Nov 29, 2011), and is on sale for its best price.

I'll have a more thorough list later in the week.
I think Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 is at an all time low. Lowest I have seen it on sale was at $3.99. It is $2.99 this week. It is also a console exclusive not available on PC so it was an automatic buy for me.

I am looking forward to your list later on the week before deciding on any more purchases.
I don't even remember seeing it that cheap before ($3.99) I always remember it being $7.49 then at some point I think I just started ignoring it. I'm debating on whether to pick that up too but I'm practically going broke on other stuff so I think I'll skip it this time. I'm still waiting on Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet to go on sale again cause I couldn't include it the last two times and also LIMBO possibly going on sale again.

Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 has often been on sale for $5.99 which I thought was too much for it considering the first game went for close to $2 in the past.

Lowest I have seen it was $3.74 in December 2017. I know this because I asked and posted if it was worth getting it on Xbox(BCR2 unlike BCR1 was never ported to PC and is a console exclusive which is probably the reason Capcom set the price higher) at this price on the steam BCR1 forums at that time.

Apparently it wasn't considered as good as the first game, so I skipped buying it at that time hoping for a lower price closer to BCR 1, only to see the price never go below $5 since then.

I don't want to wait nearly 3 years for the game to appear again at this all time low($3), so I decided to get it on this sale.

This is not the first time I regretted not buying a game on sale on Xbox in the past. I should have bought Silent Hills Homecoming a few years ago during their Halloween sale. It hasn't been on sale since.

    Still no far cry predator.
I have never seen that on sale at the Xbox store. I ended up buying a disc copy instead.

Is Far Cry Classic still worth buying if you already have Predator? They are different versions of the same game but different enough I think to consider maybe buying both versions. Predator is more linear while Classic based on the PC version is longer and more open world.
They're not the same game. Honestly I wouldn't really recommend either of them other than for nostalgia or for completing the whole series. I enjoyed them for both those reasons but anyone else is better skipping to 3. 2 was a massive disappointment: great idea, poor execution.

Yes I wanted it mostly to complete my Far Cry collection. Also it is kind of unique because it was made by the developers of the Crysis games, Crytek which was no longer case with the Far Cry sequels after that.

Is anyone else having problems viewing sales on there 360, when I click deals with gold it always says “no items” & was wondering if this is my 360 messing up or a screw up on Microsoft’s end.

Yeah, Xbox 360 dashboard hasn’t been a super reliable method of finding sales for a little while, unfortunately.

    Warmest regards, TwistedTB.

I think I remember seeing it for $5.99 before now that you mentioned it and thought that was still too much as well. I liked the first one to a degree and it was a good remaster of the NES game but the way my backlog keeps piling up I think I actually can wait 3 years for it to be dirt cheap again.
I decided to pick up 1942: Joint Strike on top of the other five so six games is a pretty good haul. Plus if I count the 17 games in the arcade cabinet I actually raked in 22.
I have just enough left for ITSP and LIMBO to not catch me by surprise the following week or two.

    @Cenosis

I just pay for my games now with MS gift cards claimed from MS Rewards. Combine that with the discount you get from this sales and you can certainly build up quite a library of Xbox 360 games that you don't have to pay for.

I am also interested in some of the other Capcom games including a few Resident Evil ones at 80% off that I might buy before the sale ends.

not that anyone is gonna read this far this late but people looking for dlc sales should look for themselves on the store and not rely on this list because not everything is listed. I wanted the revelations 2 dlc and its not listed here for the 360. But it is actually on sale. just picked it up.

Has anyone had any luck downloading and running Pirates! on an Xbox 360?

I was happy to see it go on sale but I don't have an Xbox One to play it on so if superniceguy's report of it not working correctly gets corroborated by others, I won't even risk purchasing it.

It does not work on 360, just on the One

No Borderlands dlc? what a fucking joke
If you install Borderlands on a Xbox One, it gives you all the DLC for Free. It installs as GOTY Edition even if it's a vanilla copy.
Thanks. It is good to hear I don't have to buy the dlc on the Xbox One and just play the Xbox 360 game via back compatibility.

I just found out there are a couple of Xbox 360 exclusives in this sale, the Dead Rising Case West and Case Zero stand alone games that are linked to Dead Rising 2.

I have the mainline series on PC but am happy to add this Xbox 360 exclusives to my collection as well.

That makes it 4 Capcom games for me so far in this sale along with Azura + dlc.

Not a bad sale. Picked up something from each of 2K, Capcom, and Ubisoft.

This week I have bought 1942 Joint Strike, Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 2 Case West, Dead Rising 2 Zero, Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, Asura's Wrath Episode Pack: Part IV, and am thinking about getting Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and its Echo Six expansion since it's PC version has so many issues it is practically unplayable.

Yes, I bought it and it says "Can't Download" even though it downloaded it most of the way. This is straight from the Microsoft Store: "An Xbox 360 hard drive is required to use this item. GAME-PLAY ALERT: The online multiplayer, leaderboards and voice features of this game are no longer supported. This game has been fully tested to successfully play on your Xbox 360 console. However, in some cases, you may see some minor irregularities with audio/video for brief periods. For more details, see www.xbox.com/xboxoriginals." So what's the story with it not working, when clearly it should?

I found the issues with Pirates on the Xbox console as highly unusual.

Usually it is PC games that develop issues and require tweaking to work because they are not optimized to work on just one type of hardware but for many other different configurations.

In this case, I found Pirates easy to install and play on PC while it is the console version that are having issues.
