vSully said: There should be regular embedded images of the world map if nothing more than to break up text monotony but also to clarify where you are, what you're immediately working in, and where you're ending up.
In following the guide, I'd constantly find myself a little confused with your written instruction and spend time working out exactly what you were talking about and wishing you had included an image to make it easier.
I find the WT very helpful, and have loved most of your content over the years, so hope this is received as constructive criticism. So far it's getting easier to follow the further I go (only at end of Act 1 and I'm struggling less and less now) but I would like to echo what Sully said.
I'm finding myself getting really lost based on description-only text. This is more issue is more with the complex nature of the game itself (its progression routes seem more complex than I remember Blind Forest being) but some reference pictures every 2-3 paragraphs certainly would helped - this could even as reference points in general (entering/exiting areas, particular landmarks), not specifically with collectibles. I'm having a much easier time using your collectible guide and written guide in parallel, following it until you mention a collectible and transitioning to your video.
The only other comment I'd like to raise, and one I find happens a bit in metrovanias, is when a WT says 'go back to X' when you were there some time ago. Once you've played the game through multiple times, this instruction would make sense, as it will only be 2-3 minutes ago - however, when you're concentrating really hard on collectibles etc. and killing enemies as a newbie it can be some time since you were in a location, and it is kind of hard in a game like this just to remember how to get back somewhere. An early example:
"Now climb all the way back up out of this shaft to where you first landed on the bone spine in Howl’s Den."
This isn't quite a case of just jumping out the shaft, there is a reasonable amount of navigation and without a picture of a map location it took me 10 minutes trying to get back here.
Your order, depth of explanation and clarity of the most part is extremely good. I'm extremely glad this WT exists. Just some QOL improvements that I think would help. I'm still early on in the game, but it took me much longer to acclimate myself to this WT than Blind Forest for these reasons.
