As someone who never played the 360 game, I’m def interested in this. I’ll pick this up on a sale, at some point.

Is this a standalone title or do i need the new Modern Warfare to play it?

The way I see it, a rough "walkthrough" should be like this:

1. Play through on Veteran.
2. Play through levels you did not complete without dying/reloading on Recruit.
3. Miscellaneous level-specific stuff and collectibles that were not already taken care of in steps 1 and 2.

Cannot wait for this game. I loved COD4's remaster and this is going to be even better!

This is truly the dumbest thing any developer has ever done. People have been hyped about this game getting remastered for years and these morons are too stupid to consider that everyone is stuck in their house right now, likely bored out of their minds, and they go and pull this PS4 exclusive shit. Terrible idea, terrible promotion, terrible company. Looks like another tedious and unnecessary month of waiting is ahead for us.
