Metal Gear Solid HD Collection walkthrough – a complete Xbox achievement guide

Completing this 100% is virtually impossible.

I previewed this guide and it looks very well done! I remember trying to get the dog tags during the PS2 days and this is one game I have been meaning to get back to. Also a MGS 1 remaster would be awesome.

This is a series that I've been on the fence about playing for years, but the amount of material that exists is overwhelming.

I completed the VR missions awhile back but I've always left the other two (well, some of MGS2) but I really want to enjoy MGS3. Those boss fights are all so good and the variety is insane. I almost don't want to play it because once I get all of the achievements I'll have to wait for another remaster.

This was my third or fourth walkthrough I’ve ever worked on and I’m glad people are still benefitting from it. Metal Gear Solid 2 is a phenomenal work of art, decades ahead of its time, and I encourage everyone interested to play it.

Even if you do not 100% this. These are two amazing games.

I'll get around to finishing this eventually. The antiquated controls just make it really hard to stay interested.

I loved metal gear but... Completed this is impossible..

I did it, but full disclosure it took me a hell of a lot longer than 150 hours to do so...

I wish MGS 2 had achievements like 3. Completing all the VR & Alternative missions, collecting all the dog tags, take so fucking long. While 3 just requires you collect a lot of stuff, and even not killing anyone can be done on Very Easy with the EZ gun, funnily enough, very easily.
