Xbox One Sale Roundup: July 7th, 2020

I dont know what people expect. You are guaranteed either a shitty list of games on sale that you have seen 100 times or that game you bought is now cheaper.

We all know what is about to happen before we look but we cant help ourselves. 😂

That's the best price I've ever seen for Borderlands Handsome Collection, I thought 14.99 was a great deal but 9.99 is crazy cheap for a lot of great content.

I don't understand the outrage over a 2 year old game going on a deep sale. If you bought the game for full price at launch, you got to play it 2 years sooner than the people picking it up in this sale. You also supported the developer and helped keep it running. If nobody bought on day one, they wouldn't be able to afford to keep making games. Games will always go on sale within a year after release and definitely within 2 years. It should be expected at this point, especially for a game that wasn't even that popular in the first place. It was a GWG game and still only 15k people here have played it. That's ridiculously low.

BF1 pass back out on sale again is tempting for me.

For anyone who picked it up from GwG and hasn't yet played it, Inquisitor is actually pretty good and I highly recommend picking up the all the dlc.

Could we get an asterisk or something to Indicate which games have never been on sale before? Most games seem to be regulars on these sales.

There is absolutely no good reason to exclude other content items separately available from having a discount. Sure, everyone can just rebuy the cheaper Complete bundle, but it makes those that bought it and got it free with their Gold subscription feel pretty worthless, not that GwG has had a good track record anyway.

Did I play every game that I bought on day one immediately?- Unfortunately not.

Did I blame the developers or publishers that I was too lazy to play a game that I bought on day one for full prize? - No, why should I, that would be dumb.

As I said, nothing wrong with a discount. Discounts are fantastic, everyone wins with a discount.

Everyone except whoever bought it last month. Clearly the publisher has lowered the discount this month to try and scam whoever didn't pick it up last time. Or perhaps anyone with a Gold subscription, any one of those here? Feel like one of your monthly benefits was a waste? Big Ben even have a nice little bundle there so Gold or retail buyers can upgrade their copy to the full version. They never discount that only the full package. Or perhaps anyone who picked up the Imperium package this week, description still states it includes the game and post-content Season Pass. You'd need to compare all included content items in both packages to know you're missing out.

As I also said, there is absolutely no good reason why they couldn't discount both - the full package, the upgrade pack and DLC items, and get rid of the Imperium bundle thats still available. The only reason they havent is to try and scam buyers that arent fully informed. And thats upsetting.

Still waiting on that bus. Wait Bus Simulator game.

A Way Out has a good deal. It doesn't need to go sub €5 because it has such a great quality.

Other than that, nothing stands out from this list, move on :)
