What about Whipseey and the Lost Atlas? It's a 2-3 hour completion but not on this list? Also pretty cheap.

Mr. Pumpkin wasn't bad as I recall and I enjoyed Before the Storm and didn't care for other games in the series. Thought the story/writing were significantly better quality. Nothing else for me this week, plenty to dig through in the backlog and Gamepass.

If you like shoot ‘em up games, Project Starship is quite good for its price even when not on sale. It is an easy completion but is NOT an easy game unless you play on the lowest difficulty setting. It is best played with an arcade stick.

The sequel was just released a couple of weeks ago. Although it is not listed in the TA sales article, it is also on sale for 20% off. Project Starship X is much more polished & better than the first game. As you might guess from the name of your player character, Swagthulhu—a spacefaring Octopus-like entity—this is a Lovecraft parody & loads of fun. It is also an easy completion but a challenging game.

She Sees Red has a walkthrough if that sort of thing helps influence ya. Its a FMV game with 4 endings. Not too bad acting.

I don't get the hate for Life is Strange BTS, I really liked it.
