Reminder: Windows 8 Microsoft Casual Games servers closing on April 5th

Currently grinding out Bingo. Only got one achievement left but about 12 levels left. Unless something holds me away from my computer I feel pretty safe that I'll get it done.

Got the challenge ones left on solitaire, not sure I'm going to make golds lol

To clarify though, if I get a windows phone 8/10, I can't access the store to download these?

Started mahjong (wp) on a WP7 years ago.

Just dusted off my Surface. I don’t think the achievements I need are affected, but why take the risk. Less than 2 years before Windows 8 (and my Surface) goes out of support.

Wait is wordament closing? If so that’s not good working on Sudoku and Gears pop I don’t need a third game to grind out

Finished Solitaire 2 weeks ago, so thankfully I don't need to do any last minute grinding.

It's been a long grind, but thankfully I finished Mahjong, Solitaire Collection, Jigsaw and Sudoku in the past few months... 😅

So glad I didnt touch these... although I like alot of the games in real life

So is it just the monthly medals or all achievements?

Tandar1 said:Hard to say. A lot of the dead casual games don't let you sign in meaning you can't synch. So, it probably will stop the ability to get ANY achievements, not just the online only looking ones.

I feel bad for anyone that didn't choose to do Taptiles in time. That game easily has the longest dailies.

Do we think Microsoft Jackpot will be affected as well, in terms of being able to sign in? In theory the servers were meant to be closed in June 2019. However, you can still unlock the 5 daily rewards in a row achievement.
