    Just load up a game where you have enough pops on a planet and pop.

    :-) I think there are a lot of people very relieved about this being fixed. I wasn't expecting the patch out till the 17th as per Paradox forums but seems Gamepass got it a couple of days early.

    I only knew as I do daily MS app update checks and saw it had updated automatically.

    I think I'll leave the DLC, I must've put 200 hours into the base game, and the fact the base game unlocked two achievements from extra DLC wasn't good. had to buy them to get the 100% (Ancient Relics + Federations)
