I advise all of you to NOT buy this 8floor bundle if you're looking for a quickie. those games are a damn grind which will take more than 5 hours each (rather 8 to 10). I did this mistake. I regret it. my poor brain cells :(

They are even Unity games, they do not support "suspending" the game to home in case you wanna refresh your brain with some fresh content a la youtube. bear this in mind and always end your level or deal with restarting.

Also don't try to be too quick. as you will sometimes bug your char if you have more than one and can't complete any "need 2" action.

Yeah. I don't like those games. as you can obviously see. :D

How bad is evil existence? Looks like a cheap Re7 clone.

It's nice to see a quality game Like The Last Campfire in this type of article. I've gotten used to seeing Ratalaika and Xitilion games listed all the time.
    This space for rent.

Definitely agree with steering clear of the 8floor games if you want quick completions. They’re fun and mostly easy though, so if you want some simple and mostly mindless puzzle games to play while you watch tv or something, give one of them a shot. They’re basically all copy-paste jobs of the same game though so I wouldn’t advise diving right in on the bundle if you’ve never played one.

It's ATROCIOUS and has some of the worst controls this gen, but it's easy points.

Any sub-10 hour game is still a quick completion in my book. laugh I picked up the bundle just because it's like 7000 GS for a few bucks.

All gamers are different and enjoy different things. I don't even remember what possessed me to buy the first one, but once I played it, I was hooked. I have completed them all and enjoyed each one. My biggest problem with the games was the inability to put the controller down after I started :)

Take a good look, they’re not that great of games. Some folks totally won’t mind them, for some they’ll be like severe torture. They’re also not that fast really, you’ll be trudging through them for a long while for that gamerscore.

Ok, I’m thinking about buying the 8floor bundle, should I buy it or not? Is it as bad as mentioned in the comments, is it really that much of a boring grind?

Also, it should be noted that Faery: Legends or Avalon is an old Arcade title and that time spent is worth 200 Gamerscore. Is it a completion? Yes. Is it a lot of Gamerscore for the time spent, no, not really.

With that said, it’s a low rent turn based JRPG type RPG and since you fly (you’re fairies) there’s some verticality involved that isn’t that usual.

Forgive me for not exactly remembering, I played it long ago and recall liking it, but it’s not going to make any top ten lists. It’s mediocre and doesn’t overstay its welcome (or at least not by much) and I don’t recall any problems unlocking all the achievements.

Child of Light is, overall, a much better example of this kind of game (supposedly has an unobtainable now, not sure there’s a workaround).

For what it's worth, I really enjoy the 8floor games and think the pack is a steal; I bought all of them on sale individually and each one was still more expensive than the entire pack is now.

Generally speaking, the games are easy enough that you don't need a guide and so they make for fairly mindless, relaxing games you can sprinkle in between more involved completions. I actually wrote the TA walkthrough for the first Gnomes Garden and then decided it probably wasn't worth that amount of work to do the rest. Just look up a video if you struggle to get three stars on a level (which will be very uncommon).
In no rush to slow down

There are also 3 ratalaika games in the sale. Rabisco + , rift racoon and infestor . All 3 should be fairly quick.

Shout out to kill it with fire. Looks interesting

I know it’s not a quick completion or on this list, but I noticed blast em bunnies on this sale for $1.99 is that game any good or worth picking up for such a cheap price? It’s completable just not very quick, I think around 12-15 hours it said

It's a fun game, but I have to go into my Xbox Accessories app to turn on look inversion every time I played it, and then go turn it off again when I was done. Got tedious so I never finished it. May not apply to you or bother you as much as me, but wanted to make that known just in case.
If you have to ask, you're streets behind.

Throw the name of one of the games into Youtube, find some gameplay footage, and see what you think. I don't know about Royal Roads because I haven't gotten around to that one yet, but with the exception of graphical differences, all of the Gnomes Garden, Lost Artifacts, and DayD games are exactly the same. If you're into it, $4 for 7 of them is an absolutely insane price. If you're not into it, steer clear obviously.

I love the 8Floor games. Just put on some music and play away. You get everything by getting three stars on each level. Most games are 6 to 8 hours. Some are quicker than others

It’s honestly pretty fun if you like a simple carnival type shooter. If it’s the bundle on sale which includes the free multipliers and money than yes it’s definitely worth it at that price.
    Crackdown 3!
