This one was brutal. After doing everything else at this game requires, you’ll only be a fraction of the way there. It’s a painfully slow grind, maximized at about 1% progress in 45 minutes to an hour. So you’re looking at 80 to 100 hours beyond the other 80 to 100 hours that everything else takes.
This was horrible. The game is terrible to begin with. It’s sort of like a bust a move. Even with a turbo controller, this took me forever. Doing it naturally would take three forevers and a day.
The Tetris® Master achievement in Tetris Ultimate worth 4947 pointsFor Tetris® Masters only. Earn the Show-off, T-Spinner, and Simply the Best badges. I love Tetris but this was too much. First of all, online play was dead essentially from launch. And I didn’t get around to working on this game until about a year later. Clearing 100,000 lines in online play required boosting with a dedicated partner (forget finding anyone in random matchmaking) and just playing endless mode over and over and over and over and over and over and over for a couple of hundred hours as I recall. And that slog was only 1/3 of what this achievement required. A second requirement was easy but a third required getting a 20 combo which was separate high skill complication all together.
