Alright, I think I figured out the best way to farm the "likes" on the tunes. You're probably going to read this and think "Dude, you're fricking crazy..." but read it through and hopefully it will make sense.

Each person in the group should make 50 tunes on one car, copy the same tune over and over and name them something simple like T1, T2, etc, etc. I used the Acura Integra Type R 2001 because it's cheap (25k) and near the beginning of the car list. It doesn't really matter but it would be nice if we all used the same car for those of us that haven't created their tunes already.

For this to work most efficiently we'll need to do 4 things as the "like" giver:

1. Use the follower module to look at a person's tunes and locate the block of 50 tunes on the same car. Press the "Y" button on each of the 50 tunes to mark them as "Favorite Tune".

2. Get in the car the person used for the 50 tunes and then go to the "Find Tuning Setups" module and then immediately press "RB" to tab over to "My Favorites". You should now see the 50 tunes and notice they refresh in much faster than searching for someone. On the first car listed we're going to press "Y" to "Remove Favorite" and then press "A" to select that tune and choose "Download and Save". This will save the tune and kick you back to the "upgrades" screen.

We'll need to repeat this step for the remaining tunes but you'll notice that because you are removing the tune from your favorites prior to downloading and saving the tune that the next time you go in you'll be able to select the first tune in the list again because the previous one is no longer in the favorites tab. Until you get the hang of it I recommend downloading 5-10 at a time at this step then move on to step 3 and step 4. You can then come back to step 2 to get more tunes and continue with step 3 and 4. Rinse and repeat...

3. Go to the "My Tuning Setups" where you will now see however many tunes you did in step 2 listed here. Press "A" to select it and choose "like". Move one to the right, rinse and repeat until all the listed tunes are "liked".

4. Move back over to the first tune and press "X" to delete it. Move stick once to the right and it will highlight the next tune. Press "X" to delete... rinse and repeat until all the tunes here are deleted.

Once all 50 of the tunes have been liked and deleted, you'll be ready for the next person!

I didn't want to overrun the character count so to continue on with some questions and answers:

Dude, I don't have the time to do 50 cars in one sitting, what can I do to still participate?
A: As long as you complete Step 1, you can take your time with the remaining steps. Step 1 should only take a couple minutes per person. You can do steps 2-4 one car at a time if needed. Once you complete that person then just grab another 50 from the next person.

Dude, this person has like 400 tunes, WTF?
A: As long as that person makes 50 tunes on a car without any other tunes there's an alternate way to perform step 1 that will work. Get in the car with the 50 tunes and go directly to "Find Tuning Steps" and press the back button to bring up a search. Under "Creator" type out the persons gamertag and select "search". You should then only see the 50 tunes for this car. You can the scroll left to right and press "Y" on each one to mark it as a favorite. After marking all 50 just back out and then you are ready for step 2.

Dude, this can't be faster, is it?
A: Yes, it is. I can do all 4 steps on 50 cars in less than 30 minutes. More importantly though, it allows me to work on 50 of your tunes without having to wait for anyone. It eliminates me having to wait for you to post 5 a day and then waiting and waiting for more posts.

Dude, This is insane, how long did it take to make 50 tunes?
A: I don't know, maybe one every 45 seconds or so. 30 seconds if I can stay focused while doing it.

Dude, why the rush?
A: In 6 months I've had two paint jobs go semi-viral. 500 downloads / 250 uses on one and 300 downloads / 210 uses on the other. How many likes do I have you ask? 43 total. I've added over 200 in a day and a half by myself and in that time I've also managed the same for my vinyl's and tunes, throw out another 300 likes to my test group and still managed to write this book. LOL I want to get this done and help as many people here as I can along the way...

Thanks for putting in all the legwork to try and optimize this OLOT. I'll try to get myself up to 50 vinyl groups today or tomorrow, as well as 50 tunes on one car, then start getting some likes done for you.

I can confirm I've got a bunch of extra likes on paint jobs and vinyl groups since I last played, so seems like what you're doing is certainly working.

I've had much the same experience where I've had some liveries and tunes do very well in terms of downloads and even uses, but very poorly on likes. I think the game does a poor job of surfacing the Like button to users which makes these accolades difficult to earn naturally.

Alright, I think I'm caught up. Here's my findings/results thus far with my test group:

@Thegame1083 114designs/44tunes/17vinyls.
I've liked all the vinyl's, I liked the tunes that were the corvette starter car and I liked the majority of your cars that were not the same. As of this writing I see you adding T1-T16 of the same car. That won't work for the "followers" module method. Downloading the same car type from the "followers" module results in only 1 or 2 actually getting saved to the "my design's" section. You have enough original paint jobs for new people to come in and "like" 50 of them so I wouldn't worry about it. As far as tunes go, I'd like to see 50 of them on the same car. preferably on the 2001 Acura Integra Type R or the starter corvette.

I've liked all the vinyl's and the majority of the designs. (Blacked Out and Black and White Series) Your tunes are spread out all over the place, if you had tunes on the same car I couldn't spot them. Would like to see you dump 50 duplicate tunes on either the Acura or Corvette mentioned above.

I liked all the vinyl's and all the design's. I also liked all the corvette tunes you have. I can see you're working on that now as I see 21 new tunes 1-21. I liked them as well. I did notice that all your tunes had different PI values. You need to evaluate whether the extra time spent is worth the lottery ticket chance that one of them goes viral... LOL

All vinyl's are duplicates, all tunes are duplicates for the Acura listed above, All designs are from different cars all with an ugly pink paint job. The color is what makes the block of cars stand out. The next 50 will probably be lime green if needed.

@TheGame1083 - I started 10 minutes after the timestamp on your post. In 30 minutes I was able to "like" all 50 tunes and also "like" the 33 new vinyl's. (I had already done the original 17) The paint jobs are not ideal as I discussed in the previous thread because they are the same car. I can do them using the "tunes" method but it will probably take closer to 20 minutes rather than the 10 minutes per 50 cars on your original designs. (very nice btw...)

@TheGame1083 49 new cars have been "liked". Took 20 minutes. I fat fingered one and unfavorited without downloading it so I don't know which one I missed...

For everyone else, Cobwebby has a large variety of tunes. If you scroll to the right a bit you'll start seeing the block of Acura's about 50 tunes into the list. (In the followers module) They're easy to spot as they are all the same color and same PI so they stand out as dups. Just mark those 50 as favorites and follow the rest of my instructions and it's easy peasy.

Seems they can be the same just a different name!

I try to keep all my nice and neat but whenever you rename or unshare and share, it takes that file and puts it all the way at the beginning of the list you're doing. I also noticed when unsharing and sharing vinyls, the vinyl stats reset so be weary of that. I just renamed my vinyls to keep the stats after the fact. Stats for tunes and designs stay intact.

Downloads Guide
We won’t be concerning ourselves with downloads as we will get these while going for the more difficult Likes category.

Uses Guide

Vinyl Groups (Shapes)
Currently these are not registering and it’s unlikely these accolades will be fixed as this problem occurred in Horizon 4.

Liveries (Paint Jobs)
These seem to be linked to time, for 15 minutes for one use and AFK can be used on PC and Console.

Tunes
Could possibly be timed at 30 minutes game time or/and after 3 races for one single use more testing required.

Likes Guide


Vinyl Groups\Shapes (The same for Photos)
Start by creating one single shape then save it as a different file name I find one Letter then followed by numbers is the best way, for example E01, E02, E50.

After you have 50 (the next batch of 50 create a different shape) of the same shape all shared with a different file name you can use your 2nd (or more) account (or friends) to then follow your account.

Go into your followers and click on your account and choose your Vinyl Groups. Download all 50 (or more if you have them) and then go back into you Garage and then like all the Vinyl Group shapes you have downloaded then delete them all.

Liveries (Paint Jobs)
Slightly more difficult for Paint Jobs you must create a paint job for 50 different cars as the servers don’t allow you to download more than 1 at a time from the Followers Creative menu. Once you have 50 cars (create them with all the same colour and name them with a letter and number) go back to your garage and like and then delete all 50.

Tunes
A little bit different again to speed things up, create 50 tunes that are the same but numbered differently of the same car, if you are going for 100 or 150 I suggest the 3 starting vehicles so you know everyone owns that vehicle.

We can’t download these from the followers Creative Menu as it has the same limit as the Paint Jobs but we can add them to favorites so find the lot of 50 cars with the same tune and favorite all 50.

Now get into the car for the tunes you downloaded, and go into ‘Find Tuning Setups” then press RB to move to your Favs.

Now maybe start off doing 10 at a time until you get the pattern down, we are going to Press ‘Y’ to remove the favorite then we are going to download the tune, you will be kicked back to the upgrades screen.

Now repeat this until you no longer have any of the tunes in your favorites menu, then go into ‘My Tuning Setups’ like all the tunes, then delete all the tunes.



Simply do this for 50, 100, 150 on multiple accounts if you want to speed things up or ask for help here!!
