Xbox sale round-up March 8th, 2022

I wish there was a massive $5 and under X360 sale on the catalogue so I can buy digital for discs I own. Feels weird to spend $10 and $15+ for something I already have physically.

To that extent, does anyone know how the GTAIV DLC works digitally? I have the disc for the base game + DLC packs. If I were to buy the digital version, does the XBO/XBSX see the downloaded DLC game files from the disc and allow ongoing access if I own GTAIV digitally? Or will I have to have the discs in the console to access the DLC? I know back compat is a bit wonky in that some games had the DLC just work digitally after you put a DLC disc into the box once (I think Borderlands 1 worked that way). Both DLCs are listed in the Xbox store, but are not purchasable, which makes me curious...

Got the BO2 Season Pass already but never started it due to the one achievement that is discontinued and can only be obtainable through modded lobbys... missed the chance to get this achievement before they took it down.

Bought Pure Pool and instantly regretted it after just 5 minutes playing it on an alt.

Absolute garbage, stupid controls and the worst camera I have ever seen in a pool/snooker game.

Fair play to the 7 on here that stomached it to completion because I don't want to even put it on this tag.

Sundered, South Park bundle, Glass Masquerade bundle and I may finally bite on Elex. Excellent week for sales.

However that's for the 360. Not sure about how it works with Back Compat since I just have it all digitally. If it does install it as separate files like it does on the 360 i would think it would work the same.


As for me with this sale...I said no more backlog! Until I saw 1/2 dozen interesting looking indie games for under a $5er a pop.....guess it gets a little bigger.
