I loved the second game, but never got around to playing the first one. Maybe now is a good time to try it.

Now I remember why I never finished this...the flags.

One of my first completions. The flags held it up for a bit, but eventually got collected.

Great game. I don’t understand why this is the only 360 AC game without an Xbox one remaster

Was a decent start to the series but the sequel was a massive improvement in every way. I came back to AC1 years later and did the flags. Not too bad as long as you avoid collecting any randomly and just use the maps to pick them off. Takes a while though

I'm already done with this one! Have fun everyone who will be doing this game for the first time! I really liked it.

This was truly one of the best games on the 360 when I played it. I got the 360 and started looking at games for the console. Assassins Creed was one of the first I got for the console. It wasn't a huge open world compared to games today, but for the time it was really good. The past and present timelines worked well. They truly created an interesting story that kept me through the end

Awesome game, I completed in 29th sep 2014. This game deserve a remastered edition. I would play again, with pleasure.

I always said that I was going to start the Assassin's Creed games and I always postponed it... Well, I guess it's finally time!

Assassin's Creed was one heck of an experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was also a series that kept on giving, getting better and better with each title, in my opinion. I only dropped off the series recently but want to get back into it.
Interesting side note that probably nobody will care about but I must share, I got my final achievement in the game EXACTLY 10 years after the first, to the minute. From December 27th, 2007 at 10:21 pm to December 27th, 2017 at 10:21 pm.
I picked the game back up and when I realized that it was close to the 10 year mark, I may have waited an extra week on purpose, to pop that last achievement.
Am I a huge nerd? Yes. Do I regret it? Not one bit.

It was one of my first 360 games that I completed. 12 years later, it brings back good memories.

This is a great series. And this was a great first entry and one of my early completions . For me, 2 was the peak, though I’ve not played the three most recent entries.

They do get a bit samey after a while, but I was playing them back to back on catch up. After a break, I recently went back to start Unity and found it quite refreshing actually!

One of the first games I played on the 360 but I got bored before the end because of the repetitive side-quests. But the main quest was pretty good and set the bases for a great series.
A few years later, I came back to it on my own Xbox account which gave me enough motivation to 100% it in one go. And it wasn't as boring as I remembered (even the flags!)

The ambience is really something special... in hindsight part of it is the usual '00s obsession with browns and muted colors and part of it is the classic fog-hides-faraway-details, but back when we didn't all know what to expect from an AC game it really helped set the tone off right.

Just realised that it's almost two years since I last played an Assassin's Creed game, having consistently played through at least one a year since this first one was released.

    Does that mean I'm "cured"?

Getting back into Odyssey after finishing Valhalla which has more dlc. But damn it's been good getting back into the AC games! Played Ac1 in 2019 and it was a pretty good time even with the amount of flags ya have to collect! :D
