Authentic Difficulty & Coop

Hey everybody :)
Does anybody already know how hard authentic is this time and whether it would be possible to unlock all of the achievements in coop mode?

Authentic is hard. Im playing with a friend and 2 hours layer still on missiom 1 lol. We duck. The issue we are having is thay to revive each other you need to use med kits. Bandages dont work. Med kits are few and far between!

If you upgrade your character to use health perks this will help self revival and to carry additional item slots for extra meds

I had it in my mind you had limited saves on authentic but it's not the case. I've 2 missions done and it's fine. The big thing to remember is NEVER run, you'll be heard a mile away.

Just finished it coop in around 4-5 hours. I recommend to fully upgrade your character first and also unlock some good weapons. Best is to also have a couple entrance points unlocked to start closer to main objective. Definitly get familiar with the missions first so you dont get into unnecessary areas and encounters. If in combat try to retreat into buildings. Another thing the we found out during mission 7, was that when i had an connection error i could rejoin and got fully equipped again. Mission still counted as completed.

It was easy. Very easy. But if you wanna cheese it just have someone go and do everything while host stays alive. If the other person dies just have them quit and reinvite them in. They’ll start with full ammo and can continue with the mission.

Sounds like it’s rather doable then in co-op for authentic difficulty. Who wants to pair up?

Running through it on solo. Pretty easy.

If you do the Wolf Mountain DLC Mission on Authentic first, you'll start with progression for 1 Mission done on Authentic. That means you can skip a mission and still pop the Authentic achievement. This is handy if you don't want to go through Mission 8 or any Mission you find difficult.

Finished it myself last night, with the exception of part of mission 7 and 8 it was way easier than SE4 I thought.

And now I see today that you can just lower the difficulty and bump it back up to authentic before exfiltrating and it will count.

I don't think I'd have enjoyed it as much on a lower difficulty though, authentic suited how I like to play. From what I've seen mopping up achievements it's an absolute cake walk on the easier settings.

But, can both Host and partner unlock achievements while playing the campaign? Nobody mentioned it yet

You can also start the campaign on civilian, change the difficulty to authentic before you exfiltrate, save the game, reload the save and exfil and you’ll get credit for authentic. Just do this for every mission.
