Question About Silencer and Subsonic Ammo

I'm wondering if the silencer on your weapon has any effect when you are using subsonic ammo.

I almost never shoot the rifle with normal ammo unless I'm sound masked, so is there any use for the silencer? If I am using subsonic ammo with a normal rifle without a silencer is it any louder than using it with a silencer?

Would love to remove the silencer if the subsonic ammo isn't any quieter with it on.

Anyone have any info on this? Thank you!

When customizing your rifle and loadout, press back/view to see weapon details. It'll show you the result of equipping any mod, and it shows that subsonic ammo stacks with silencers (by further reducing the audible range of the weapon).
