Now, we need Night Trap.
You & me both.
The developer said it was 30 days out or less what is it now 5 years ago? I tried contacting him several times politely and constructively asking him where it was, and then he had a baby, and it was never heard of again. It’s just one guy. Doing all the platforms
I would also suggest that he redo the achievements to make them much more possible should development resume
There’s a really interesting story they probably lands headfirst into peoples nondisclosure agreements. Independent developers seem to have a hard time getting their game certified, we also lost strike vector the same way, probably also because it unfortunately didn’t sell on any platform. So the question is, and I think we need an objective third-party determine this with the qualifications to do so, is Microsoft too strict, or are some Indies not quite up to professional standards?
I expect the true answer lies somewhere in the middle. But the devil is always in the details. Is it a very hard to solve problem? Or is it just that they don’t feel like putting in the extra effort and decide an Xbox release isn’t worth it? I expected both have been true with some games, sometimes
Either way considering that Microsoft gave strike vector a lot of premium booth space and support for a game they never delivered I would send them a bill
