I remember they specifically said that Scott Pilgrim would get an Xbox release, so I held off on buying the Switch version, then they never released it on Xbox so I got neither.

Hope they follow through with this smile

Night Trap, and all of the other Screaming Villains games please on Xbox! I have them on PS4, Switch, and Steam already, but would buy them again on Xbox.
    Yes, I know I am.

It would be an absolute nightmare with a controller
Fear Effect Sedna was inspired by Shadowrun Returns. I’d enjoyed Shadowrun Returns so I thought I'd give Fear Effect Sedna a go. The isometric turn-based tactical RPG mechanics worked quite well in Sedna & I’m hoping they’ll be at least as good with the trilogy.

Although for anyone tempted to order, just bare in mind that they don't start production until the orders are closed, so it's not going to arrive in your letterbox for about 4-6 months.
In other words, you are paying upfront in full for a long term preorder.

I've actually been proud Xbox has avoided this trend. Times have changed today though.

This is never coming. Which is a MASSIVE disappointment. Even the official website took the Xbox logo off of the Night Trap page. I'm assuming it was quietly cancelled without any notice from Screaming Villains or Microsoft.
    Cheers!

Hopefully they will ship to the UAE.
Licking an electrical outlet will not turn you into a Mighty Morphin Power Ranger.

They're a small company with a niche market though, they can't take the risk of making 10,000 copies of something then hoping they sell in the way someone like EA can.

Already bought the collectors edition for River City Girls 2, was a big fan of the edition they did for the first one (even though I had to buy secondhand lol).

    Doom 64 for £30? It’s only £4 digitially!

I can respect that for collectors, but as a mass produce product it's just more trash added to the world, and most of it will found itself at thrift stores for $2 or a landfill. You'll also need to the hardware to support reading the disc, and an internet to update a pre-patched game. Emulators with a digital package are better for archival of old games than discs.

I would be interested in physical versions for Shadowrun Trilogy, TMNT, and Powerslave, but it remains to be seen how available these actually will be.

The developer said it was 30 days out or less what is it now 5 years ago? I tried contacting him several times politely and constructively asking him where it was, and then he had a baby, and it was never heard of again. It’s just one guy. Doing all the platforms

I would also suggest that he redo the achievements to make them much more possible should development resume

There’s a really interesting story they probably lands headfirst into peoples nondisclosure agreements. Independent developers seem to have a hard time getting their game certified, we also lost strike vector the same way, probably also because it unfortunately didn’t sell on any platform. So the question is, and I think we need an objective third-party determine this with the qualifications to do so, is Microsoft too strict, or are some Indies not quite up to professional standards?

I expect the true answer lies somewhere in the middle. But the devil is always in the details. Is it a very hard to solve problem? Or is it just that they don’t feel like putting in the extra effort and decide an Xbox release isn’t worth it? I expected both have been true with some games, sometimes

Either way considering that Microsoft gave strike vector a lot of premium booth space and support for a game they never delivered I would send them a bill
