That's a ton of first-time sales for easy games. Someone at Xbox might be catching on to "easy game on sale = money."

Kind of baring it all for everyone to see, that working on increasing your gamerscore is pointless and unrewarding.
We here have a total of £521.54 to be "spent". Best save that money for utility bills.
Why are you on an achievement site if getting achievements is unrewarding to you? That just doesn’t make sense bud.
Actually, this is not an an 'achievements' site per se, but a 'true achievements' site, a new metric that, ironically, was designed to actually discredit these types of games.

Having said that, the site has become a great tool to help gamers reach their maximum gamerscore potential, regardless of how you like to play.

Plenty of quality games on this list that offer more than just an easy score. Hopefully people can still pad their stats without just throwing money at some of the less deserving garbage that finds its way on the marketplace.
“discredit” it? By idea it is designed to differentiate same gamerscore achievements in a time when most (every?) game came with 200/400 by difficulty/skill/time investment. Two games one a child’s and one a 100hr nightmare could both have achievements with 10G and Xbox will always look as if those are the same thing while TA will show the later as a higher value

"101"??!! I knew each week was a mess with all those games only made for achievement hunters --but totally bad games--, but usually it's around 35 titles. Now it's 101?!! What a negative period we live for the video game industry...
Would you rather have 8 stacks of trash like The Jumping Fries?
    Or The Jumping Fries: TURBO?
Or the mountain of Breakthrough Gaming garbage?

Xbox has nothing on the free-for-all over at PlayStation.
Wow! What a shame those 'games' are, I didn't know them. It's the return of the Flash games on computer. Playstation (and MS) should pay more intention to what they allow to enter in their stores. Looks like we're on Steam where anyone can launch their own game, even those that took 5mins to program.

Most of the 101 games above are shit, but for sure yours are even worse. Shit is shit, bad or semi-bad. Shouldn't exist. Or not for money in exchange from users.

At the very least, these 101 games are actual games. No "product only exists to sell a quick plat", "sell individual levels as separate games", or "repackage the one-screen games as multiplayer/challenge variants and sell them again".
Breakthrough's games are available on Xbox, but they're in the achievementless Creators Collection.

There are 12 games doable under 30mins in this list, do you really think people buy them for the games themselves? I played several 'easy games', but I've chosen them because they were a minimum my kind, not just for easy 1,000Gs. I play 'Avatar' master of Fire thing, where achs can be done in 15min. But I played the whole game, because it was pretty cool. Too bad the devs didn't put more achs through the game and made it a 1,000Gs title only.

Those weekly sales look more like an ID@Xbox (independant studios) game sales than a real sales. And I don't play on Xbox One to play so small studios' games. And today devs prefer to make easy money with bad easy games than a minimum good/original games.

If you know where to look you’ll manage to find a lot of good games (and tbf there’s probably a couple in that selection that are good but are also easily completed).

I know, that's why I replied to another person above 'Most of the 101 games above are shit', most. 🙂

That's a lot of games, wow. Can anyone recommend any that aren't just shovelware?
I am thinking about Deponia Collection, this games have around 70 on metacritic (on other platforms than Xbox, if they have a rank). I have been curious about these games for a few years so with that huge discount I will look for some reviews.
So I can't really recommend them at the moment but they might be worth checking (to anyone who likes point and click, ofc).

Wandersong would be my pick. The game is a quick completion with level select, but it's far better to spend a few extra hours to play through the game regularly and experience the absolutely charming little story. For me, it was a game that when I finished it, my first thought was "I'm glad I played that".

This. Although I really should stop - I'm already over 100 games to dive and wondering how in the world I'm going to have time to pop one in each....

But what makes me extra happy is your subtle confirmation that we're almost a go...

I wish there was an option to not include games you own/have completed

Gonna have to do some cross referencing on the pc when I get off work.
I know it isn't what you're after exactly, but I did notice today that on web, if you hover over each game name, it tells you your score in that game, which does help a little. In a list of 101 though, that would be a nice filter!

Also check out A Short Hike which I also found fun. I played and completed it on the Switch and it is pretty relaxing with a good story.

Tales from the Borderlands is probably the most underrated Telltale game of them all. A good game for sure!
