Sniper Elite 5 update patches out achievement exploit

I got the authentic achievement just in the nick of time. But I was a little late for the DLC authentic achievement. 🤦🏼‍♂️😂

I'm so glad I decided to invest 24 hours into the game last week thinking that they will surely patch this exploit out by the end of the month. Right on the money.

Anyone know yet if the existing saves at the end of the levels still work for those who have them? I've got the achievement and the saves for a friend but can he even get the achievement now?

Do they patch the cloud versions as well?
(Subnautica and Below Zero are still unpatched)

I mean not like it was very hard anyway, this must be the easiest entry in the franchise lol

I cheesed the campaign one already so good for me. I didn't cheese the dmc though as Hitler always started to the south for me and I killed him with the truck.

Fyi: they’re working on a fix for no stone unturned, will come in a future patch and will autopop for everyone who fulfilled the requirements

Devs always seem to be hot on the case if there's an exploit, but take their sweet time fixing unobtainables.

Cant say the same about ea/respawn and all their disasters. Weeklong waits for responses in the forum, twitter support cant help whatsoever. People are angry in the apex forums.

Authentic is really extremely easy this time around and as a gamer who has been playing video games for over 35 years, it really seriously amazed me how many are now just exploiting glitches and exploits. No ambition to create something yourself anymore? Kind of disappointing...

Never understand this kind of thing; where is the 'achievement' in glitching your way to getting it? I like to look back on those really difficult Achievements that I unlocked with pride, particularly so if only a few have matched the feat. If people are, to put it bluntly, cheating in order to unlock what is supposed to be an Achievement unlocked only by the best of us, it makes having Achievements effectively pointless...

Of all the Sniper Elite games I have played, Authentic on this one is the easiest and I actually enjoy playing it on that difficulty compared to speed running through other games.

I’ve also never used achievements as a barometer for a persons skills when it comes to video games. Especially given even people who tout the high road often end up using some level of exploit themselves. Each person has their own bar and pretty much no one is above it to some degree.
