Xbox sale round-up July 5th, 2022

I am also thinking of getting Space Hulk Tactics at $2.99 even though it has some unobtainables on the achievement list. At 80% off it looks interesting.

I was wondering why Red Faction Armageddon Ruin Pack is not available for sale on steam but is currently on sale on Xbox. After doing some research it is apparently free on steam but not on Xbox.

I think it's been removed from the marketplace and I keep meaning to look for a disc copy, but given what I've seen from other gamers I'm not desperate for it. Got the DLC with achievements for Red Faction Armageddon for sure. I can't believe the season pass for CoD Black Ops II is on sale. I will probably get that. Tempted to get Call of Duty 2. Good 360 selection this week.

I did buy Silent Hill Homecoming in this sale after waiting for it to be put on sale at a substantial discount for a long time.

Vandal Hearts looks interesting for a tactics strategy game but I think it is a bit overpriced for such an old game at $7.49 at only 50% off that only provides 200 GS.

I decided to go instead for Space Hulk: Tactics which is also a tactics strategy game based on the Warhammer 40 K Universe for only $2.99 (80% off) but with more modern updated graphics.

Picked up Bayonetta (Xbox 360). I have the physical version but I thought I'd get the digital since it's discounted 60%.

Disappointing to see so many of the Ubisoft titles and their DLCs that are being shut down excluded from the sales yet they are receiving discounts on other platforms.

With the recent shut down on windows phone and how that affected over hundreds of games, I’m suspecting that Xbox 360 will be gone very soon too and when that happens, all games that everyone has done the online achievements for, will be a complete waste of time unless they’re backwards compatible then you can get your single player achievements there, but the point of me writing this is that we all won’t be able to get so many of those desired games done or maybe even played. It’s just not possible and I wish developers never even bothered to add multiplayer achievements to games they know themselves they are gonna shutdown in the foreseeable future.

No one will buy Ghost Recon Future Soldier or Assassins Creed DLC after servers shut down preventing the use of the DLC, so why not try to make more sales by discounting the price when they are already doing it for other marketplaces?
