Devs as usual being ridiculous with their prices. So glad I could snag a Series X when I did so I can continue to not support digital BS; because Amazon honestly had better deals for prime day for full physical games than these morons offer for digital only products.
Digital prices continue to be beyond baffling to me on console. 3-6 year old games that have been literally the same price for the past 2-4+ years of their life. Just stupid.
wait till gaming goes digital only... It will be only for the rich ppl!

I’m surprised everyone isn’t jumping at the opportunity to buy Spiderhuman Shooter so much cheaper than all the other officially licensed titles and gameplay looks amazing! 😂

I’m pretty sure that’s the cheapest I’ve seen Book of Demons, $9.99 instead of $14.99.

I might pick up Assetto Corsa Competizione, I enjoyed it quite a bit for the few hours I played it during the free play weekend. I'm only debating on whether I want to spend $14 for digital or an extra $6 for the physical.
If you have to ask, you're streets behind.

LETS GOOOOOOO I finally copped Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite💪

I was willing to get it for $20 so $12 for the deluxe edition is a steal.
i remember playing it some when it was a part of game pass
seemed like the multiplayer was broken
had to wait forever to hope for a match
i even tried it double boxing it would fail

Some fun 360 games on there but the same old ones that I already have sadly. For anybody curious however with the Ubisoft stuff going on, Assassins Creed Rogue can be completed fully offline ;)

Question! Anybody play The Bard's Tale ARPG and is it any fun? It's been on my list a long time. I never played the originals back in the day. If anybody has played it, any idea an actual realistic completion time estimate for those that prefer not to use command codes or follow walkthroughs? I'd rather just go through the game myself first and then I can do another run and clean up anything I missed with a guide if needed :P I'm pretty certain 2-3 hours is not remotely correct for a full actual run of the game however.

    wishlist notification?
No wishlist alerts but I had price notifications like 12hrs ago or something.
The Bard’s Tale ARPG has nearly nothing to do with the old school Bard’s Tale games. It’s actually pretty terrible. You see 2-3 hours because there’s console commands that let you fly and make you invulnerable. On the upside that means you can play it blind and use console commands to mop up, on the downside that means you’d be playing it… twice.

I’ve given this game the old college try multiple times, it’s just freaking awful. The humor is not actually that funny, the story doesn’t seem great (maybe it gets great later on but I wouldn’t bet on it). Finally it’s just a clunky and unfun mess.

I love plenty of B tier games, I recently completed Redeemer and the 9 Monkeys of Shaolin and both were fine. Obey Me turned out to be a hidden gem (the very obviously non professional voice acting grows on you). Othercide is the best game I’ve played in 5 years.

But Bard’s Tale ARPG is trash, I wish it wasn’t, but it is.
Thanks for the info, it's appreciated! I'll look into it some more first then lol. I still have a couple games I need to run through on the PC anyway plus some on Steam as well. This seems to go on sale often as well anyway so no real rush yet either way and $1 cheaper isn't that big of a deal really :P

Thanks for the other game titles too. I'll see if any sound interesting and will run on here. This isn't a gaming computer and it only has an integrated GPU so it's very limited with what I can run -_- That and my tiny bandwidth limit so even if I can run something if the download is too big I can't do it anyway still lol.

Appreciate the info though, thanks! I'll hold off on the game until I look into it better and perhaps catch up on a couple of my other computer games first :P

Allgorhythm said:Enjoy! It was such a fun game :D I picked up the 2nd a year or two back digital finally because I can't find a disc copy anywhere of it and I want to replay that first before doing the 2nd but I haven't had a chance yet.

Some nice stuff on there and you can get 4,000 points with rewards as well if you spend £35
Ah, £3.50 "profit" for spending ten times that amount. Score!
Nobody said you were making profit. It's a rewards program, not a charity....
And it adds up in the long run. To a lot actually.

I think at this point Rage 2 Rage coins will never be on sale again, guess I'll have to pay full price for the Rage 2 DLC.

Exact same sales we've seen over and over again here, blah.

Seems like they are the same ol' games from before, none of my wishlist went for sale. It's a bummer, it is labeled as " the ultimate game sale" but seems pretty limited in comparison, specially when reading other comments...

I still have my disc copy of KOTOR and, as a console collector, quite a few original XBox consoles including some great limited editions. However, it pleases me to no end that Microsoft is extending backwards compatibility to the original XBox. I thought I'd check out how KOTOR plays in BC mode and then pick up KOTOR II.

BTW, I consider KOTOR to be the very best Star Wars game by a substantial margin.

Surprisingly not much interests me in this, but I think I might grab Devil May Cry 5 and Kingdom Hearts I & II finally. I've always wanted to play the KH games.

Console digital prices are not even in the same gene pool as PC/Steam digital prices and honestly they aren't even BEGINNING to trend in the same direction in the slightest. If anything console digital prices have continued to worsen over time instead of trying to compete with PC/Steam; so if it went fully digital I'm not even close to naive enough to believe it would be anything less than a monopolistic hellscape or price gouging with what we see now.
    So it goes...

Oh I assure you sale prices are MUCH better and more frequent today than during the 360 era. It’s not even close and that’s with physical dying a slow death even. If you add in services like Gamepass the price difference becomes insane.

Still, you both said “digital” and Steam, GOG.com, Humble Bundle, etc. are digital storefronts. Pre Steam game sale prices were much higher and less frequent. Things are trending downward industry wide. You may not feel it’s fast enough but that is the direction things are going.

Just looked at major nelson, ONE page of sales for 360 even though "500+ games on sale" pathetic, when a regular week has 2-3 pages but an "ultimate" sale only has 1 page roll

Same here. I have a disc copy of KOTOR and my original Xbox still as well (which actually was my brothers and he gave it to me when he moved). I have all of my other old systems though as well ranging from the 360 back to the Sega Genesis as my earliest that I still have and works. Used to have an NES and SNES but they stopped working a long time ago and we could never fix them :(

Yeah, I'd be curious to know as well! I tried Halo 2 on the 360 but it had this annoying ghosting image effect or something so I just pulled the old Xbox out and played it with nephew on there instead. It was more fun because that one I could hook up in the back through our surround system so we played Halo 2 blasting loud through the stereo that summer for his first time playing through the Halo games... fun times :D When I replay KOTOR I'll do it on the old Xbox but KOTOR 2 is digital so it might work a lot better. A few of the other BC games for the old Xbox ran fairly decent that I tried, on Xbox 360 at least. I'm sure they'd run even better on the newer systems :P
