I will be picking up Strong Moon, for sure.

Otherwise, I may browse through the Capcom Arcade Stadium 2 DLC to see if any of it will make the completion less painful.

Does anyone know what is the best way to buy and play the hitman trilogy? Seen lots of editions on the store is kind of confusing.

yeah that one is insane. hard to figure out what you own just by the shop
1. buy the trilogy
2. check the install content of the games and WRITE IT DOWN
3. check what DLC is needed for each game completion. for example 7 deadly sins for hitman 3
4. buy the other DLCs if needed.

Second this. I bought it not long ago on a sale and I had an absolute blast with it. I would have had issues with paying full price because of the "one button" nature of it but it was worth it for a reduced price. I would say the genre is interactive music video album. what about that trilogy deluxe upgrade?
That is your usual deluxe stuff. Extra items, commentary, soundtrack, and escalations. If you are a huge fan and want everything, buy that too. Else you won't miss out on anything if you skip that.

yes for 3. but it serms that this trilogy deluxe upgrade includes the goty stuff for 1 and 2. so what about getting the trilogy and the upgrade?! that should cover everything.

I can't see Trilogy Deluxe Upgrade. Do you have a link?
I'm almost sure that is a Deluxe Upgrade to H3 within the Trilogy.
