You can go on eneba and buy an Argentina code for $20. You do need a VPN that connects to a server in Argentina in order to redeem the codes on PC though, but in the end, you are saving money with my method compared to buying these on the Xbox marketplace.

Just trying to help, do you own base GTA4? The DLC isn't standalone, you need the game to play it. There was confusion about this back in the 360 days because there are standalone discs, but digital needs the base game to operate.

A DLC error wouldn't stop a game from launching, you would just have issues accessing it in game.
Don't remember buying the base game on digital but i downloaded and played it when i bought the dlc today.
I do however own both the game and dlc on physical media but that's not an option now that i'm on the Series S.
Oh well, guess it will be Zelda tonight again.
    Thank you though

Thanks for the tip, i'm not that tech savvy so i'm not sure how to do that though.
I don't use any mobile data regarding gaming whatsoever, and no wifi.
Just plain old fiber wall to console.
But thanks maybe i can have someone look into it.

The Far Cry 6 season pass doesn't even include the newest DLC? This crap is getting ridiculous. A season pass should include all the DLC. That's always been the case and now it just isn't anymore.

Season passes have not been all inclusive of every DLC for well over 10 years now. The descriptions typically list out exactly what's included (its never "all content forever"), and the name even implies it only applies to set content (a season). You've got some big blinders on if you think this is a recent thing.

Are we including stuff like cosmetics? If so then yeah it's been going on forever. But if we're talking strictly the story based DLC or multiplayer DLC, which I'm talking about, then I can't think of a season pass working this way in the timeframe you specified. Can you give me an example of a season pass that doesn't give you all the DLC that was released for a game prior to at least 2019? I'm not talking stuff like Overwatch or Destiny or whatever where there are actual seasons.

Luckily, the "Season Pass" for the overwhelming majority of games includes all expansions and often any extra characters/cosmetics/etc. Season Passes that don't include all expansions are quite rare (thankfully) - the only other one that springs to mind is Borderlands 3 (and the 2nd season was awful apparently so not even worth bothering with).

Thinking about it though, the term "Season Pass" never made any sense since a season is only 3 months.

Borderlands 3 is when I first started noticing the trend and when it really started to piss me off.

Lego Batman 3 Season Pass does not include the Future Batman DLC, for another example before 2019.
I bought it tonight though as it's less than price of a coffee, right?

This has to be one of the worst years for sales ever.. Which is precisely why I can't stand digital only releases.. Never on sale.. Never a good sale.. I barely buy anything anymore because everything is so over priced.

Injustice God's Among Us (2013) - Season Pass advertised and included 4 characters, two additional characters were released at additional cost.

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 (2015) - Pass included 4 map packs and zombie maps. Zombie Chronicles was released later for a separate cost.

Final Fantasy 15 (2015) - Season Pass included three character episodes. A fourth episode and a major content pack were released afterwards.

Steep (2016) - Season Pass came with two content packs. Additional content packs were released after, some that got bundled together in another pass and a DLC that has since been delisted. This is a Ubisoft title like Far Cry 6.

This is just notable ones I'm familiar with cherry picked from different publishers, there are more examples out there. Every instance where a season pass does include everything is because that was all the content they planned to develop. When there's demand for more content, it gets done outside of the scope of the pass. I'm not familair with any pass that includes additional major content as a courtesy, though it could have happened. I know Fallout 4 raised its Season Pass price, I think to account for the scope of the DLC rather than include additional.

The word Season has meaning beyond climate periods, for example it's used by television and sports to define a specific production or year. Attractions like amusement parks, zoos, and sports teams sell Season passes/tickets that generally last a year.

Which version of Assassins Creed Odyssey do I need to buy that contains all necessary title updates/Add ons/ DLCs? With ‘necessary’ i mean contains achievements, the ‘Athenian weapons pack’ is a add on but has no achievements to it ,so I’m not gonna buy that, you see what I mean, right? Has it to be Gold version, the ultimate version or the deluxe version? Or is it better to buy the base game and the add ons separately? This question applies to AC Valhalla as well, what version do I need?
I'd recommend checking out xbdeals.net. It shows price history graphs for everything, including individual DLCs, so you can make informed decisions on whether you should buy things separately or bundled based on historical price data.

Yes, the Gold edition of Odyssey contains all the necessary DLC for achievements, but you miss out on the additional cosmetic/gear packs, which are in the Ultimate edition. I simply compared all available bundles (in my region).

For Valhalla, either the base game and 3 DLCs, Ragnarok edition and the other 2 DLCs, or Complete edition are your options. For the sale this week, the base game and 3 DLCs are cheapest because all are on sale, but it still comes out to be ~53 bucks. I'd wait, if I were in your shoes, for the complete edition to go on sale again. It seems to go on sale regularly for 49 bucks.

TLDR Odyssey this week, Valhalla can wait
Appreciate the reply. Meanwhile I came up with a new ’idea’ ?
So I thought maybe I’d buy the ‘normal version’ of odyssey which I saw for like 13-14 bucks and Valhalla for like 17-18. I buy them, play em with no rush and nothing and after I finished the main game I get Ubisoft play or plus or however it’s called and smash every dlc/add on/expansion for both games and for any other AC game in which I need the add ons (that be origins and black flag).
That be 30-32 bucks for the base games
    17-18 bucks for Ubisoft service
    In total 47-50 bucks
Meanwhile the complete version of Valhalla is around 50 bucks on sale odyssey gold is 20 bucks on sale and the add ons for origins like 11-12 bucks on sale and the black flag ones combined like 7-8 bucks on sale.So 47-50 bucks or 88-90 bucks, it’s obvious what I’m going to do but how exactly does the ubi service work? If I own the game and I get it, can I just download the add ons to my owned game or do I have to download the game from ubi as well?
    …..

True... apparently it's an American thing. They should have left "Season" meaning "Season" and found another word to use instead laugh "Annual Pass", for instance, would make much more sense.
