I'd say 60 hours is pretty accurate as long as you take advantage of the first win bonus of the day. I just play one match a day and get 700 points per win (200 per win + 500 for first win bonus of the day). This takes on average 10 mins per day. If you are just going to grind the heck out of it and only get 100 points per loss and 200 per win, then yes, this will take quite some time.

Number crunching time! At 700xp a day it'd take 175 days (half a year, seriously) to go from 1 to 50, but there's only 132 days left. Dividing time left by experience needed means 927xp per day if you start now, so that's at least two wins and some change from an MVP or loss; lets assume 30 minutes to play three matches, making 66 hours to completion.

So you're right, 60 raw hours is possible. But itd be a lot of work since that pace requires daily commitment (and winning consistently), where every missed day is an extra 50 minutes minimum to compensate (5 wins for 1000xp). I'm level 39 so I can get about a level per week, so I'm looking at a 10 week commitment if I can be bothered. At least I can safely skip some days and make up for them.

Let's take daily wins out of the equation for cleaner number's sake. 122500 xp to level 50, that's 613 pure wins (100 hours) or 1225 pure losses (200 hours). Split the diff and assume 50/60 winrate, that's 919 matches for 153 hours. Woof. But each daily shaves off ~30 minutes so it adds up big if you can consistently log in.
