I'm happy they are done with it. There were some games I loved, and some I tried because I could download it but the majority of them was not interesting or flat out terrible game for me. They could've keep rotating older games so those who joined the ecosystem later or missed something could've have the chance too.

I've never, ever been disappointed with a GWG. In fact, the only time I was disappointed was when I accidentally forgot to claim one game. One game out of hundreds. Oh, how I cried that day.

Other than that, I've always found some fun in the GWG and have played most, if not all, of them.

A lot of people that cried about GWG never even touched the games (and said as much) which is kinda pointless. How can you be critical of something that you have yet to experience? There were a LOT of hidden gems in there. LOTS.

People really need to step out of their AAA bubble. I mean, they were free games. And yes, they were free. Xbox Live Gold price didn't increase when the games were added, and thus it was 'free'. It was a benefit to a sub that you would have paid for anyway.

As a car guy, I appreciate that they gave out Inertial Drift, it's pretty cool little game. That being said, it has been one of the few times I've been interested in playing at least one of the games being given, so I won't miss GWG, GP has been a game-changer anyway.

I’m always torn with GwG. On the one hand, it’s free games and I’ve played some stuff I’d never heard of and loved it…on the other hand, the games have gotten progressively more obscure and cheaper. I still have Metal Gear Solid and Zombi from when they were on Games with Gold! I can’t remember the last time I’d actually heard of any of the freebies.

First time I got Gold, it had Army of Two: Devil's Cartel and Assassin's Creed 4.

It was amazing. It had great games, but eventually that well dried up. I don't mind whatever game gets on Games with Gold, it's 'free' anyways.

Both games seem to have decent ratings here and are both almost unanimously positive on Steam as well; so I'd say decent enough. Just more victims of "buh I havunt herd of it sooo itz baddd" curse that followed so many of these later GWG titles.

Gwg are gonna be missed

The last time it was good was when they had Jurassic World Evolution imo.

GwG declined when GP started to thrive

What I am wondering is if Xbox will still use those green xbox live gold cards or if their will be a way to increase my monthly xbox ultimate membership by paying through amazon or wal-mart. The thing about it is I don't trust microsoft with my credit card information because big named companies like microsoft get's hacked and credit card details get's stolen. But yeah, I will miss games with gold with their free games each month.

Feels like a missed opportunity to sign off with a bang, never once complained about GWG and will miss it. Just thought this was a bit flat. Still don't own either, so, bonus.
